'Clarian' 2 Bedroom apartment, sleeps 4, overlooking town & sea beyond

Located in Ilfracombe, North Devon, this beautiful, third floor, privately owned apartment, situated in a grade II listed Georgian terrace has far reaching views across the sea and town beyond.

Clarian is a Visit Britain inspected, 4 star rated property so you can be assured of our excellent standards. It has 2 bedrooms, and can sleep up to four people. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. It has comfortable furnishings, fixtures and fittings and is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay. The apartment boasts a TV, free WiFi, DVD & CD player, microwave oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher and full central heating. It has the added benefit of its own private parking space.

Only a few minutes stroll to the harbour, tunnels beaches, local shops and restaurants.

Beautiful Apartment with stunning views

A beautiful apartment with stunning views of Ilfracombe. Clean and modern with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need for a self catering week away. Lots to see and do locally and plenty of local amenities. Good WiFi and phone reception and although there was only one parking bay we managed to park on near bye roads with ease. The town is very hilly and the entry to the apartment is steep but we had parents with us aged 75 and they coped well. A slow accent but worth it for the views from the front room. There are some low beams in the bathroom - but once you had settled in they weren't a problem. Even better than advertised. Thank you - we had a fantastic week and would book again.

Lovely seaside stay!

Apartment was lovely, great location overlooking the sea. Had all the amenities you need & the double bed was so comfy (didn't try the 2nd room). Lots of nice restaurants less then a 10 minute walk away. Tunnels beaches were cool, and we took a short drive to the lovely Woolacombe beach (15mins) which is rated the best in the U.K.

Had a really relaxing few days here in this quiet location. Would definitely recommend!

Holiday made easy

Perfect holiday home with all the amenities you could wish for. Location was great, minute walk to the town that has everything from a cinema to a weatherspoons. All in all a wonderful time had by all and made easy by having the guides and brochures to hand in the apartment.

Clean, Fresh and Everything you Need

In my opinion Clarian is everything you need for a holiday stay. Clean, fresh, modern and well maintained. It provides all the amenities you would expect from a Self-Catering Holiday Let. The views from the apartment are stunning, looking across Ilfracombe itself with the backdrop of the sea. This is a great location, we went to Woolacombe Beach in one direction and Lynmouth & Lynton in the other. Superb holiday, wished we could have stayed longer.

Good flat, good location, good view

As mentioned in previous reviews this is a light and spacious, well equipped flat conveniently located for the attractions of Ilfracombe and surrounding areas with a great view and worth the climb up the stairs. Well positioned for the restaurants in Fore Street and we can recommend The Terrace Tapas Bar, Relish and fish and chips from Maddy’s Chippy eaten out of the paper on the front watching the sunset. There is a mattress topper on the double bed which made it more comfortable but the two single beds were uncomfortable – as there were only three of us we used the duvet from one as a mattress topper on the other. Perhaps new mattresses all around would be a good investment? Also for the dishwasher to be useful there needs to be sufficient crockery for at least two breakfasts for four people. Whist we knew there wasn’t Wifi at the apartment when we booked, being there and using our 3G allowances for checking information on local attractions and restaurants was not ideal and made us realise how much Wifi would now be a necessity for us when considering future holiday bookings. If the above issues are addressed we would certainly return and recommend the flat to others.

Owner's Response: We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment. The mattresses are relatively new and peoples preferences in comfort are all different. We provide 6 place settings although the apartment sleeps 4. This allows for breakages etc. We already have arrangements in place for WiFi to be installed by the end of the year. We look forward to seeing you again.

good choice

we were glad having choosen this place. clean, great sea-view, and all in all well-maintained.

What we missed however and what we expected as standard is wlan/wifi.

Also a hair-dryer would be nice.

Good place to start tours in the north devon region.
