Great place to stay when skiing at Sugarloaf.
Headed down as a group of 8. We had difficulty getting the basement bedroom to heat. Aside from that, we had plenty of room for all of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Susan is an excellent and friendly host.
Cozy and spacious with everything you need!
This place has it all - wonderful location close to Sugarloaf, comfortable beds and bedrooms, a kitchen with everything you need, and a sauna!
Susan was a perfect host. She was responsive to my messages/questions and offered some flexibility around check in and check out times. This was a big deal for us, as we typically follow the schedule of our 3 month old these days :)
Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
Cozy house with sauna in a fantastic location
Overall as billed. The kitchen is very well equipped and the common space is delightful. Lots of big beds suitable for couples. We loved having direct access to the nordic system. We loved the sauna and wood stove. The snow was bottomless even before another storm that hit while we were there. The plowing crew stayed right on it and did a great job.
Bathrooms not quite ideal for this many folks; just two and none of them are upstairs where two of the bedrooms are located. The lighting and switches are oddly jumbled, and on our second day we lost lighting to the downstairs bathroom (not just a breaker issue). Guests are expected to take their trash away with them, which is an unusual nuisance.
Host Susan was warm and promptly responsive except on the lighting issue.
I have read your review of our ski house and I am sorry it didn’t fully meet your expectations. I also apologize if you feel I was non-responsive regarding an electrical issue.
I received communication from you via phone on the day of your check in, and then later that day two texts from someone in your party regarding a drip coffee maker and heat in the basement.
I have gone back through all of my phone calls, voice mails, texts, and communication via the HomeAway site. I cannot see where you reached out about an electrical issue.
Please know I would have promptly addressed it if given the opportunity.
As far as carrying out your own trash, that is common practice for rentals in the Redington community. Due to snow fall, plowing, and need for parking multiple vehicles, a dumpster in the yard is not an option. Our cleaning fee would need to be increased if our cleaning crew dealt with trash removal too.
Once again, sorry that your trip was less than a 5 star experience.
Thank you, Susan Cantara
Beautiful home! Great location!
This was the perfect location for us during our ski weekend! 8 of us had a great time, and the kitchen had every necessity we needed! We will definitely be back!
This was the best house I have stayed in. It was clean and was very accommodating for us. It was a great location to go skiing from. There was plenty of room. I would recommend this place to anyone
We had a great time at Susan's place! It had everything we needed, beautiful views of the mountain, and it comfortably fit a group of friends for the weekend. The sauna was awesome, too! I would highly recommend.
