Petrino Villa is a beautiful villa that combines the much wanted serenity of a secluded location with the convenience of having close proximity to Kassiopi's village centre. It is set within the exclusive area of Anatoliko, Kassiopi - a quiet, unpopulated corner of the village which has everything in easy walking distance. This benefit is rare for a villa of this size to have. Not necessary for you to hire a vehicle, ideal for families or groups of friends wanting amenities on their doorstep. For families with elder teenagers, you needn't worry about them getting back to the villa after an evening out.
Another great advantage of the villa is it's proximity to a small, unknown bay of Kassiopi. In 250m you are by the sea. Whilst there is one main beach in Kassiopi and three smaller bays to choose from - all within a gentle walk's distance - this little cove is almost exclusive. Directions given!
In designing the villa, huge importance was put on creating the most relaxing and peaceful outside space as your summer holidays are of course spent mostly enjoying the fresh air. From the pool area you enjoy an uninterrupted views of the local flora and fauna surrounding the hillsides whilst you relax and top up your tan. From here, you can fully appreciate the peacefulness, fresh air and aesthetic beauty of Kassiopi and the north east of Corfu.
The pool itself is of generous size with proper steps going into the water for easy access. It also boasts an attached children's shallow pool - putting parent's minds at ease. The surrounding is fitted with non-slip tiles, adding to the safety.
This lovely private pool area has vast space for sunbeds and displays a gorgeous marble table – not only hygienic (wipes clean) but with the comfy, cushioned chairs, it's a great place to relax and enjoy life, day or night. Envisage morning coffees, alfresco dining and late night night-caps...what holidays are made of!
Another huge plus for the villa is that the pool area enjoys the sun from dawn till dusk giving you unsolicited sunbathing time, a benefit that not all villas have. Of course, for those not so sun friendly, the parasols offer shade, as do the covered verandas.
At the back of the property secured with stone walls is a lovely extra outside area. Here you find the stone built barbecue and another outside dining table. Convenient being near the BBQ, it's a relaxing space to sit outside away from the fun and games of the pool and indulge in a little solitude in the sun.
Set over 3 levels, Villa Petrino easily and comfortably sleeps 8 people. The four bedrooms are all bright and airy. Stylishly fresh looking, they add to the peaceful ambience the villa has. The bedrooms have plentiful wardrobe space so you can live clutter-free, hiding that suitcase away you'll forget it's there! The four ensuite bathrooms are well sized and well fitted. With home-comforts such as double sized showers and a bath, there's a bathroom to suit everyone. The living room is open plan leading onto the kitchen and dining area so there is never anyone separated from the party, missing out on the fun. Fully air-conditioned and with mosquito nets, Villa Petrino allows for a comfortable and easy stay.
The villa has 2 large covered terraces- one joint balcony with lovely sea views for the top two bedrooms and the second from the living room, of which encompasses steps down to the private pool. With lots of outside space, we happily give you every opportunity to enjoy the views and the climate.
Springtime in Corfu is one of the most beautiful times to visit our island. With the flora and fauna at it's best and bountiful cultural offerings at Easter, there is never anything short to do. At the villa we provide you with a 'what's on' diary providing you with all the important events/precession's/dates in our Greek calendar-religious or otherwise. For those looking to explore, we also provide a nature trail booklet guiding you along one of the most beautiful walks in the Kassiopi area.
With its open spaced, homely feeling, Petrino Villa is both a luxury stay and a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing place for you to stay and enjoy your holiday. Great care is constantly being put into the villa to keep this delicate balance and to ensure that all guests have a wonderful holiday. Great reviews from past guests..
My Greek partner designed and built the lovely Villa Petrino - it was with his great care that a luxe yet comfy space was created for all future guests. He and I both live and work in Kassiopi so are always at hand should you have any questions about what to do or where to visit in the area.
Location, location, location. The villa's unique situation within Kassiopi offers peace and quiet for a relaxing stay yet with a 5 minute gentle walk, you're within the village's main area. Tiny bay in close proximity too, unused and unknown by most visitors. Properties in the mountains offer no more quietness than what you receive at Villa Petrino and to think you never need a car? Great!
It's been lovely to watch Villa Petrino casting a spell on us all....we arrved full of stress, anxious to rush about exploring, and after two weeks can hardly drag ourselves away from the lovely pool!
The villa copes beautifully with 5 guests but our boys invited 4 friends to join us for the secound week and we never felt like we were tripping over each other.
Thank you Keleigh for all your help and advice - it's great to have someone so close by.
Also appreciated excellent wifi: had two sets of GCSE and one set of A level results emailed during our stay so was fairly essential!
Great holiday, thanks.
We have just returned from a lovely week in this villa with two 16 year old boys. We thoroughly explored Kassiopi during our stay and now realise how very rare it is to find a house this size, with a good pool, right in the village. The boys were able to walk back to the villa in the early hours perfectly safely and were home in less than 10 minutes. Although the village is lively and has several loud music bars, the villa itself was wonderfully quiet. Clients should be aware that one of the bedrooms (lower ground floor) has only a very small, high window. In contrast, the views from the upstairs rooms is lovely, there is ample storage and good shower rooms. We did several runs to the airport, at different times of day - each took almost exactly one hour.
My husband and I have stayed in many villas over the last 20 years and I can honestly say that this is one of the nicest ones we have had the pleasure to stay in. Photo's do not do it justice, it is just superb. Stayed for 1 week, adults and teenagers and all of us were very happy. The villa is spotless and cleaned almost everyday, pool is again one of the best. The owners Keleigh and Yanis are very, very helpful, nothing seems to be too much trouble, they help you any way they can. We will definitely be returning to this lovely villa, and the beautiful island that is CORFU.
The owners restaurant is one of the best in Kassiopi, the Lime lounge is a very comfortable and friendly bar, and the shops are fantastic.
We have visited Kassiopi a number of times before but to return and stay in this villa was really fantastic. The villa is well appointed, private, spotlessly clean but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Kassiopi. The description is very accurate and I would say the photos though good do not do the villa justice in terms of how fantastic it really is. The pool area is well furnished with alot of loungers and even in October we made use of them with some fantastic weather. The 4 bedrooms are all en-suite, well decorated and spacious. The kitchen has everything you would expect and the sitting room very comfortable. There even is a satellite box so my daughter was able to watch some telly not that we had much time for this in the evenings as there was so much to see and do in Kassiopi. Not much more I can add other than we also had the luxury of 2 visits from the cleaner during our 6 days stay with all linens and towels changed twice during the week. I cannot recommend this villa enough and plan to return as soon as we can in 2016 !!
From the very beginning Keleigh was very easy to deal with and accommodated all our needs. The villa was lovely and in an ideal position in the lovely town of Kassiopi. The almost daily visits from the cleaning staff were an extra bonus leaving us with very little to do other than relax. Lovely villa, lovely family friendly town with some lovely restaurants, very attentive staff within the resort. Would recommend to anyone heading to Kassiopi.
We relaxed the minute we arrived!
We were met by Keleigh who was lovely, friendly & told us everything we needed to know about the villa & resort. The villa was very clean, spacious & had a fantastic pool!
The villa was in a quiet location but it took us just 5 minutes to walk to the harbour. We had some great meals at Petrino, cocktails at Wave & drinks at the Harbour bar.
A hire car is not necessary, as everything is within walking distance, however, the villa is in a great location for a quick drive to the local bays such as Agni or Kalami & we also hired boat for the day - I highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our time at this villa & in Kassiopi & will definitely be back!

6 of us stayed at Villa Petrino in May and I have to say the villa itself is great. Big bedrooms, masses of storage, lovely pool, great views and very clean and comfortable. I would be a little concerned about children there though as all the floors are marble and so are the stairs. I would also question the marking down of 'satellite tv' in the inventory. There was indeed a sky box but there was no viewing card so you only get the terrestrial channels.
Unfortunately the customer service was not at the same standard as the villa. Nobody was there to meet us at the villa initially, the door had been left open and the keys were on the side. When Keleigh did arrive she was apologetic and very polite which was nice. Our biggest issue though was when the hot water pipe under the sink burst and flooded the kitchen/lounge area. We didn't have an emergency contact number in the information pack so I had run down to their restaurant in the harbour but there was no body there. We finally managed to get hold of them through the company who dealt with our transfers. We were told that Yiannis was still in Corfu town on business and would be back in an hour......... 3 hours later, when nobody had turned up and we had used up all the towels in the villa trying to mop up the water so the floor didn't get damaged, we went back down to the restaurant to find out what was going on. Keleigh was once again very apologetic and polite and pointed out that Yiannis was still not back but was on his way and should be with us very shortly. Eventually someone turned up with a couple of tools, looked under the sink and then just said "5 minutes" and disappeared eventually to return a couple of hours later to fix the problem, so we stayed in for about 6 hours just waiting, unable to turn the water back on, and at no time were we updated with what was going on.
I understand that things like burst pipes do happen and I have no issue with that at all, but the way with which it was dealt with was unprofessional. Once it was all sorted out we didn't even receive an apology from anyone for the issue or, more importantly, the time it took to fix it.
I am assuming that we caught them on a bad week considering the other reviews on here about the helpfulness of the owners. I just hope that the owners are able to take this criticism constructively and learn from it.
The lovely village of Kassiopi provides a satisfying array of possibilities to suit everyone. From an offering of both traditional and international cuisine to lively or leisurely bar culture to invigorating walks of castle ruins and coast - the variety of choice makes Kassiopi quite cosmopolitan.
Kassiopi's village centre is an 6 minute walk away from Villa Petrino and within the village you can find plenty of things you may need or want: shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, car-hire, diving centre, excursion/exchange offices, computer access, pharmacy etc.
Kassiopi is ideally situated as a base for those who wish to explore the surrounding villages as boat/coach excursions run straight from the village. Why not enjoy a relaxing east coast cruise or, going west, have fun on the sandy beach BBQ trip? Prefer to explore by yourselves? Hire a boat from the quaint harbour of Kassiopi and be skipper for the day.
Alternatively, for those who wish to kick back and do nothing, Kassiopi's laid-back atmosphere makes the perfect backdrop. At the waters edge at an unnamed cove in 3 minutes. The main beach (Kalamionas beach) is just a 7 minute walk away from the villa. There are a few equally or more-so beautiful smaller coves along the headland that you may wish to explore also - all within easy walking distance. Being on the north east coast of Corfu, the seas here are free from dangerous currents and they flaunt blue-flag status. Go crab fishing in one of several rock coves or try fishing for your tea - and with plenty of different restaurants to choose from there is always a back-up meal planned!
Kassiopi plays host to some beautiful celebrations throughout the year and it is at these times, that you really feel the community spirit and authetic greek culture come alive. Notable festivals include May 8th 'panagia' in celebration and remembrance of the Great Miracle in 1530, May 21st celebrating the unification of the Ionian Islands, August 15th in celebration of the assumption of Mary and October 28th celebrating 'Ochi' - 'No' day. Often these days would be highlighted with Parades, marching bands, live music and greek dancing come evening and lots of merry Greek locals!
In booking Villa Petrino, you are dealing with the owners who live within the village whom therefore are able to offer great tips, advice and contacts for whatever you may wish to do once in Kassiopi. Most important thing: enjoy your holiday in our village because it's a very special, beautiful place.

With direct flights starting as early as mid March, why not enjoy an off-season experience. With spring in full bloom and bountiful cultural offerings at easter, there is never anything short to do. In 2016 the Greek Orthodox Easter Sunday falls on the 1st May. A fantastic opportunity to celebrate and experience authentic Greek culture!
