The City: VisitBrighton is the official Brighton tourism information guide for the city of Brighton and Hove.

England’s loveliest and liveliest city by the sea. Brighton and Hove is fun, cosmopolitan and uniquely eccentric all year round.

Regency architecture, pleasure pier, specialist shops, pavement cafés, lively arts scene and vibrant nightlife everything’s in walking distance, so take time to explore and enjoy.

And with a backdrop of the Sussex Downs and traditional English countryside, Brighton and Hove is a great base for exploring the region.

Brighton is one of the most vibrant, colourful and creative cities in Europe. Cosmopolitan, compact, energetic, unique, fun, lively, historic, young, exotic and free-spirited, it's a city like no other.

Nestling between the South Downs & the sea on the stunning south coast, Brighton offers everything from Regency heritage to beachfront cool.

A fantastic mix of iconic attractions, famed nightlife, award winning restaurants, funky arts.

Gay Brighton: Brighton has a thriving and diverse gay scene which ranges from leather bars, to country and western line dancing, to techno clubs. Brighton has long been known as the number one gay seaside resort in the south of England.

As well as the usual tourists and visitors Brighton also acts as a magnet for lesbians and gay men from all over the UK and abroad who are attracted by its bohemian atmosphere, easy going attitude and raffish air. This has led to one of the largest populations of lesbians and gay men in the UK. Much of the Brighton gay scene is concentrated in the Kemptown area of Brighton, the focal point being St James's Street and the Old Steine. It's here you'll find most of the clubs, shops and bars mentioned in the guide, so many in fact that Kemptown has become known as Brighton's Gay Village.

The perfect location for your Brighton Weekend break.

Just a quick thank you for providing such a wonderful house to us this weekend. We all had such a great time, the location was fantastic, the house was so sociable and inviting.

Our family visit Brighton a lot and this house was by far the best accommodation we have used and as well at a very reasonable price. It really did create the perfect foundation to a very special weekend for my sister, who will be getting married this coming weekend.

Great for a city break

  • 4 of 5

I was here with friends for Guy Fawkes night. The property is clean, spacious and close to the city center of Brighton. Pam always answered my emails quickly and whenever I had a question , she helped me out. Would definitely stay here again when visiting this city.

Fantastic Comfortable and well equipped

  • 5 of 5

Was here for a week with my family , we were attending my daughters wedding. Plenty of room, nice neighbourhood. Premises on 3 floors allowing us to separate youngsters from elderly worked so well. Would recommend as one of the best holiday homes I have ever booked and I have been booking at least 2 per year for the last 20 years .Believe me you wont be disappointed

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

This is a great property. There was ample room for the 14 people who stayed. It is a very short walk to the sea front and bars/clubs and has everything you could want.

Perfect for what we wanted

  • 4 of 5

The house was perfect for a girls weekend. The lounge and kitchen were large enough for all of us. They had double pillows which was brilliant and lots of cooking equipment! Was perfect for what we wanted and so close to the beach. The owners have responded quickly to all questions.

Perfect Brighton Base

  • 5 of 5

We were a family group attending our son's wedding and could not have picked anywhere better to stay. We could not fault anything. House was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need-definitely a home from home. Location was also excellent with only a 15 minute walk to Brighton Pier. We just had the best time and would definitely book again. Only complaint I had was no champagne glasses!!! Cherry on top of the cake was the wine and chocolates to greet us on our arrival. A fantastic weekend in a fantastic property which hopefully we will repeat again.
