About Bernt Fuglestveit
I am a semi-retired teacher and business owner. My wife is a hair stylist and works in a restaurant as well. We enjoy travelling and the climate of Puerto Vallarta which is why we spend time there each winter.
Bernt Fuglestveit purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Bernt Fuglestveit chose Hotel Zone
We rented at Marbella for two years prior to buying a two bedroom condo in the complex. We found it warm and friendly, close to the beach, theatres, restaurants and grocery stores. There is all kinds of shopping availabilities within walking distance.
What makes this Condo unique
We have a beautiful treed courtyard right off of our balcony where we can see all kinds of birds and even Iguanas at times.

Garden setting beautiful apartment in a great location!
Ben's apartment is very nicely furnished and equipped, all you need to bring is your bathing suit and enjoy the wonderful pools and lush surroundings throughout the complex which is well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed watching and listening to the songbirds in the trees from the patio and livingroom.
The grocery store is a short block from here, everything is very convenient.
I would highly recommend this place for short or long term.
We catch the bus up to Pitiall(sp) in front of complex bus stop just to right, not across street and enjoy the plaza there on Friday or Sat nights, also the churros there are great across the street from the north east end of plaza. You can buy beautiful Mexican dresses there for good prices as there are several shops that sell them. In the plaza there is a couple that usually make crepes that are wonderful fruit choices, liquors etc. Across the street from the condo in front of La Leche is a small van that has good burritos. If you want a huge cross section of food for a buffet go to the Liverpool mall a restaurant there is called the Stockade also catching bus in front of condo going north, just ask the driver Liverpool. On the main floor is a restaurant on the right past a couple of stores as you come in can't remember name but it has a Huge all you can eat buffet. There is also a large movie theatre there as well as in Sorianos which is the mall right beside my condo where you can shop for groceries, go bowling, or shop in many other stores. Down the street on the left several blocks, a nice walk, is Blakes, a Canadian couple owns it but it has great food of all kinds. For the best ribs in town, catch the Centro bus across the street stay on it until you go over a bridge and see El Torrito restaurant on the right( if the bus turns before you see it get off and ask someone direction and they will tell you where to go), weekdays between 1-4 ribs are 2 for 1 great ribs. Down in that area also is a fun night club that the local English speaking people and tourist go to that is fun at least once called Andeles(adult). In the Marina where the big whale is there are also some good restaurants as well. Down town in old town just walk past the Malecon and along the ocean you will see a lot of good restaurants as well, we also like a little taco stand a family runs just on the left after you pass the amphitheatre, as you get to the bridge by the ocean instead of going over the bridge just stay to the left for about 5-10 steps and there it is.
I would highly recommend taking the trip called Rhythms of the Night family or adults you can get tickets at the kiosk inside before Sorianos grocery store. Ask for the best price. If you want a bit of excitement as well the zip line called Los Veranos is great there are a couple others but they don't come close to Los Veranos. The snorkeling/ scuba tour to the Marietta Islands is good as well, in the winter you may see humpback whales, however there are dolphins in the bay year round. A cheaper trip and much closer snorkeling site is Los Arcos it is a good snorkeling site as well. The trip to Sayulita is about 1 hr you have to catch a bus to Liverpool and catch a different bus there at the inside lane bus stop, ask the people waiting there and they will help you out, a fun place for a day you can rent boogie boards or surf boards. There is a casino at Liverpool mall also adjacent to it if you want that.
