Located in Rancho San Juan, an antique Coconut plantation. "A palm tree property" situated at the heart of Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve at 19 MILES (32 KM) SOUTH TO TULUM'S HOTEL ZONE. All house and bedrooms are just renovated and very comfortable with new furniture, fans, air conditioner (10 hour service with option for extra hours with a cost of $12usd per hour).

Enjoy absolute atmosphere of privacy and freedom surrounded by nature that offers the crystalline waters of the caribbean and the beautyful lagoon of Sian Ka'an. The entire property (house and all its common areas) are available for use and enjoyment, you will live an experience of unique privacy in our 1 mile private beachfront property without neighbors. You can have fun with our Water Sport Equipment like, padel board, kayaks, snorkeling gear, buttom and fly fishing, reef boards, Floating mat and volleyball net, socer goal net and more. Also, you can enjoy our new pool and dock with ocean view where you can relax and enjoy the company of your group while you get refresh.

We offer an executive and international cuisine Chef service that will prepare all your meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner) with an amazing flavor and presentation so you can forget about cooking and just relax and enjoy your holidays. We offer a variety of meals in our fixed menu for you to choose your favorites meals (soft and alcoholic drinks are not included) $60USD per person per day.

Sweet Secluded Slice of Paradise

Our diverse age group of friends and family had a wonderful time staying at Rancho San Juan. It is very secluded and extremely lovely. We didn't see any other tourists the entire time we were there. The staff took amazingly good care of us. Chef Eddie kept our bellies full with his delicious dishes, File kept the house immaculately clean, Orlando the house manager catered to our every need and the grounds staff kept the property lovely and pristine. There are lots of different beautiful areas to hang out and relax. The pool is a very nice amenity. There are lots of toys available for activities. We watched the sun rise every morning on the Caribbean Sea and set on the bay behind us at the dock every evening. The owner is very easy to communicate with. He set us up with transport, meal plans, beverages, & boat tours. He gives this property a lot of time, attention and love. It is an epic haul to get there, but totally worth it to be so secluded. Our trip took us 5&1/2 hours to get there from the airport. The final leg of the journey there through Sian Ka'an took us 2&1/2 hours along a very bumpy road. We elected to take boats through the bay on the way out. It was much quicker and more comfortable.

Beautiful location and memorable vacation

We traveled to Casa Camara with a group of three families--18 people total. The location is amazing. The beach is well maintained. If you want to get away and have a beautiful beach all to yourself, this is the place. The view is stunning. There are a lot of beach amenities that make it fun: three sea kayaks, snorkeling gear (the nearest reef for snorkeling is about 500 meters off shore), volleyball, hammocks, sand toys, boogie boards, a pergola, and beach chairs. The home has six bedrooms and six bathrooms; four of the bedrooms have two queen beds each (2 bedrooms have king beds), so we all had a place to sleep. All bedrooms have exterior entries. There is a large, beautiful outdoor patio for relaxing, dining, and playing games. There is also a large combined dining room/sitting room inside the home. The drive to the home is 3 hours long if you travel from the Cancun Airport. The last hour is a bumpy dirt road from Tulum. The air conditioning wasn't functioning the week we were there. There was a nice ocean breeze and the home felt cool enough at night. The kitchenette in the living area has a small range, a sink, and one counter which made food prep a little tricky, but there is another kitchen you can use in the back of the home. The staff was friendly and kept the property in good condition. We did most of our own food prep and clean up. It is a great location if you want to just stay at the home and relax. It is a long drive to anywhere. You will want to bring all your food with you or coordinate a chef service. They did provide all the bottled water we needed for the week. Alvaro Camara, the owner, was easy to communicate with and always responded to queries promptly. We are rating it five stars because it is one of the most amazing and unique places you could stay. But if you are looking for an all inclusive experience or a lot of conveniences, this might not be the right fit.

Casa Camara in SAN JUAN was acquired by the Camara family 50 years ago, was an antique coconut plantation and palm tree property situated at the heart of *Biosphere Reserve of Sian Ka'an*.
After the red palm mite plague that affected the production of copra in Yucatan peninsula region, the ranch was remodeled to make a small holiday home, and with the years the house grew to become the ""Casa Camara"" of today.
San Juan in Sian Ka'an is definitely a one and only jewel of the world.
