Guestbook comments from the manager

Just wanted to say hi and let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your place before Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place for us and an easy drive for my dad and brother to come join us. The girls loved Macy and the cows, calves, goats and chickens!!

Hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!!

Lovely stay

  • 4 of 5

They accommodated us checking in early and the house was nice, with hardwood floors and a rustic feel to it. My two year old enjoyed the goats and tractors while there was plenty of dish soap, toilet paper, towels, pillows and blankets. Only complaints would be one of the double bed frames was quite loud and the fridge had a leak which ended up on our leftover pizza box. We'd definitely stay here again though and had such a nice time in Knoxville with really sweet people and delicious, inexpensive food we'll be back in the future!

Peaceful setting, yet close to Knoxville . Nice sized house with all necessities provided.

  • 5 of 5

We would definitely stay here again. Beds for all 8 of us, large living room. Quiet peaceful setting on the farm but just 15 minutes from UT and downtown Knoxville. Fresh eggs are a bonus. Beds could be updated but overall we had a great stay for family weekend at university of Tennessee.

Quiet and relaxful

  • 4 of 5

Out of the way a bit, but the area was beautiful and quite close to Knoxville. The outside was a bit misleading as it needs a bit of TLC, but the inside was immaculate and well suited for our family stay for my niece's wedding.

Wonderful Place

  • 5 of 5

From the wonderful view of the farm and comfortable living space to the opportunity for my kids to see a newborn calf, we all (4 adults and 6 kids ranging form 3 months to 7 years old) had a wonderful time. Its location being outside of the hustle of the city, but close to so much, it was so relaxing and stress free. We even had fresh eggs that are always for sale next door! Great place to relax and enjoy your days on the porch or relaxing by the fire pit. We are so thankful for the hospitality!

Relaxing on the Farm!!

  • 5 of 5

On our way home after a long trip to DC, NYC, Montreal, and Toronto, we need a place to relax before heading back to Florida, and we were blessed to find this place, a farm in the suburb of Knoxville. It was an older home, but very well equipped, super clean, very cozy but spacious for our large group - There is plenty of space for teenagers, grandmother, and adults. We felt so safe that we never bother to lock the doors coming or going. The neighbors are kind rural folks who showed us their horses and gave us seeds to plant flowers, and the owner's parents live next door and are also very hospitable. Mr. Price helped us pick squash, green tomatoes, and beans, which we enjoyed while there and was also our dinner when we got home to Florida. Mrs. Price gave us a herb plant with roots to take home. We have stayed at many VRBO, but like some of the other reviews, we think this is one of the BEST (especially after going through the hustle bustle city life of NYC and the likes). The kids loved the goats and farm fresh eggs. It was an easy drive to Gatlinburg to spend a day at Sugarlands Riding Stables and visit Cades Cove loop road where we see bear et al. Jennifer made it really easy to book, and the price was truly very reasonable!! If we come through Gatlinburg/Knoxville area, we would definitely stay here again... simply beautiful farm country and atmosphere!!

A great place to stay. I was just what my family needed to make our weekend memorable.

  • 5 of 5

Clean, comfortable, safe, and close to places in Knoxville by freeway. The farm eggs were delicious and within ten minutes we were in a secluded farm town world. Two bathrooms are definitely a plus. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when we come to Knoxville.
