Just wanted to say hi and let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your place before Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place for us and an easy drive for my dad and brother to come join us. The girls loved Macy and the cows, calves, goats and chickens!!
Hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!!
The Price Farm was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and 3 young children and it worked out great for us. It was convenient to the events we had in Knoxville and the kids loved seeing all the animals and playing outside. We would definitely stay here again.
Price Farm was an affordable relaxing escape for our family of 9. The location is fantastic with the feel of being miles out of the city while only a
10 min easy drive to the UT campus. We chose it to avoid game-day traffic and to retreat to during our son's wedding weekend at nearby Crescent Bend House & Gardens. It met all of our expectations. We named it Mam-maw's house because the style and retro decor reminded us a great deal of my husband's grandmother's home. It was more spacious that we expected and had everything we needed---plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, a large screen TV (for the game), enough sleeping space, and a tranquil setting. We enjoyed the view, venturing across the road to see the goats and calves, the grill, and the backyard fire-pit.
My family and I just returned from spending 2 nights at the Price Farm. Jennifer Adcock was wonderful to work with and answered any questions I had very quickly and she even checked to see how close her house was to a wedding venue and let me know before I booked. The house was CLEAN and had plenty of room, it is a lot larger than it appears in the photos. There were 5 of us but room for 6 more. This was so much better than staying in several rooms at a hotel, it gave a place to unwind, relax and most importantly be together. THANK YOU Jennifer for sharing your house with us.
We stayed at Price Farms two nights October 7th and 8th to attend our daughter's wedding in Knoxville. With family up from Louisiana, Price Farms was extremely less expensive than trying to book 4 hotel rooms. My wife needed a kitchen to prepare some things for the wedding. Perfect. We had grandkids with us and they enjoyed the nearby baby cows, goats, and chickens. Would absolutely recommend this location. The couple of small issues we had (wifi connection and needed more towels), Jennifer was quick to respond and resolve. We would absolutely stay there again if the need should arise. Thank you Jennifer and Price Farms.
I needed to book a property last minute (day of) for 8 people and Jennifer responded in a matter of minutes and was over the top accommodating. The house is large, clean and very comfortable, 10 minutes to downtown Knoxville but far enough away to enjoy a quiet country setting where you can stargaze . My boys absolutely loved being able to help bottle feed the calves every night and see the other animals graze on the nearby farm. We are a military family and use VRBO for most of our travels, we have always had good experiences with the places we have rented, BUT THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST EXPERIENCE THUSFAR! Stop looking at nearby places, this is the best VRBO around Knoxville.
The house is easy to find and offers plenty of parking in the driveway. The yard is large and sloping and has several nice shade trees in the front. You can wander down the hill to go see the goats, chickens, and cattle.
The house is very clean and roomier than we expected. You enter into the living room which is quite large and can easily fit all those in your group. What was once a dining room in between the living and kitchen is essentially a fourth bedroom, with its sleeper sofa and doors than can close it off. The kitchen is functional, but note that it doesn't have a dishwasher. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are down the hall on the other side of the house. The bathrooms both function perfectly.
There is a forty-something inch TV in the living room with Comcast cable that offers a pretty extensive list of channels. The Wifi internet worked and was faster than I would expect given the rural location of the house.
There is a Weigel's gas station just two minutes away for convenience store items, and it's only 10-15 minutes to the river in Knoxville.
This easily beats staying in any of the hotels in the area! Thanks for offering it!
