3 bedroom villa to sleep 6 in a wonderful location

It is hard to appreciate the location of this villa until you see it in person. Located at the end of a terrace of eight villas fronting directly onto the beach in Vale do Lobo. The aspect from the villa is stunning by day and night. It is only a two minute walk to the hub of Vale do Lobo, the 'Praca' with its wide range of bars and restaurants. Within the estate there is also unrivalled facilities including 2 championship golf courses, driving range, Wellness Centre Spa and Fitness, Tennis Academy, beach sports, shopping centre, supervised children's village, crazy golf, night club, supermarket and medical centre. There is plenty to do for all age groups, young children, teenagers and the parents! The pool is a good size and there is room for games on the lawn area. Daily maid service is included. This is one of the original houses in Vale do Lobo but has been kept up to date with all modern equipment and furnishings. It is a wonderful house and the roof terrace is spectacular.

So this is Portugal!

It was our first trip to Portugal so we didn't know what to expect. We were worried that the Villa looked too good to be true...how wrong we were. It is a perfect location to enjoy the beach, the pool, walk to restaurants, play golf and otherwise explore the Algarve. We enjoyed the location as a couple but could easily imagine sharing it with one or two other couples...lots of space and easy to find a quiet corner if need be. Paul was very good to work with and the daily cleaning staff kept everything tidy...a nice touch when renting a Villa!

Simply perfect

Everything about our stay was perfect. From the speedy, friendly and professional communication with Paul, the owner, to the villa itself, which is beautiful, cool and in the most perfect position - on the beach front and a couple of minutes stroll to the heart of the restaurant and bar area.

I had wondered beforehand if this proximity to the nightlife hub would mean that the villa was noisy at night, but no, it's tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there's no noise nuisance at all. Plus, it has its own driveway, so parking is no hassle either.

The villa itself was spotlessly clean, cool, but not cold (we didn't bother with the air conditioning) and the swimming pool was endlessly enticing. The garden was beautiful too planted with scented herbs and towering palm trees that offer shade throughout the day (if you move your lounger occasionally). All in all, it's the perfect place for lazing away the day, reading and people watching, before taking in the sunset from the rooftop terrace.

Normally, we like to dash about on holiday, visiting the sites, guide books glued to the ends of our noses, but here, well, why bother? We already knew we were in just about the perfect spot. Anywhere else would have been a come down, so we spent most of our time at the villa eating simple salads and luxuriating in our little piece of paradise. Would we recommend it. Yes, whole-heartedly. It's the perfect spot for a tranquil getaway from the stress of daily life.

Location Trumps All

We have stayed here before and we keep coming back especially for the location. Right on the beach and a 3 minute walk to the Plaza makes life very easy!

This year there were various improvements which brought the property right up to date.

The owners also seem to take on board suggestions and are very nice.

Top class property well worth it!

We have stated here twice! It's honestly one of my favourite places on earth. Amazing location, safe for the kids and literally a stones throw to the beach. Brill restaurants nearby. Don't hesitate!

420 VDL is simply the best!

This was our second stay at this great villa - and this time for two weeks. What a pleasure it was. It remains the case that we are left wanting for more.....and two weeks is simply not enough to enjoy all that the resort and immediate area has to offer.

We visited Zoomarine - and saw the dolphins. We returned to the villa......and saw lots of dolphins, all 50m offshore - what a treat. The weather was great; shorts and tee shirt over Easter and no 'villa heating' required. We can recommend the local seafood obtained from the markets (we used Loule and Olahao markets and the fish was prepared by the fishmongers for us). Found a great source of local, quality, Alentejo wine (Continente supermarket at Loule) which was very reasonably priced - much better value for money than UK.

The villa was as immaculate as ever and a joy to relax in. Suntraps everywhere outside and very light and roomy inside. Just a very comfortable 'home from home' feel to it.

Having visted twice, we can honestly say that the novelty didn't wear off - if anything, it has inensified the need to return, which we are sure to do! Struggling to imagine an age group that this wouldn't appeal to...

We booked this villa for ten days to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted something special and we got everything we dreamed of! Imagine waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves at the foot of your garden. Having a pre breakfast swim in your private pool or waking to the end of your garden for a swim in the sea. Imagine having evening drinks on your private roof terrace watching stunning sun sets before strolling a mere 3 minutes to one of the many local restaurants. No car needed here. It's the dream of a lifetime come true. From the very start, booking with Paul the owner was terrific. He is a true gentleman,polite, efficient and very helpful. The villa is really terrific and very easy to get to. Very very spacious, good layout of the rooms, all of which are sunny, extremely clean and comfortable. Location second to none ( and we travel at least six times a year to different places in Europe).

In this property every whim catered for from the up to date kitchen to the library of books and movies. Beautiful gardens, a lovely private pool and the beach in front of you. It is a very special place and I can't recommend it highly enough. For me it was a dream come true, the type of place you would buy if you won the lotto. For the ten days we stayed there we felt like we had!

This lovely 3 bedroomed villa with its own pool is just about as close as you can get to the beach in the Algarve. This sought after property occupies one of the best locations in Vale do Lobo and offers an amazing ocean view. Vale do Lobo has restaurants to suit every taste, from Ken Lo's Memories of China at the Tennis Academy to the wide range of Thai, French, Italian and English at the Praca which is less than a five minute walk from the villa. Just outside Vale do Lobo are many other top class restaurants all within a five minute taxi ride. Vale do Lobo has everything most people would need but Quinta do Lago is five minutes away as is the local town of Almancil which can satisfy all your shopping needs. A short trip takes you to Faro shopping or in the other direction lies the superb shopping mall at Algarve shopping. Quarteira, ten minutes away, has great fish and vegetable markets on the quayside. Above all this is a superb golf destination with a dozen top class courses nearby

There is a daily maid service. Linen and towels are changed weekly and beach towels are provided. We have an excellent local management agent should any problems occur. They are also able to help in arranging babysitting.
Check out time is 10am on the day of departure and access to the house is from 4pm on the day of arrival. At quiet times these can be more flexible by prior arrangement.

We can take payment in Sterling or Euros. We ask for a 20% deposit to secure the booking with the balance payable two months prior to the stay. A security/excess cleaning deposit of €400 will be required at the same time and held until the property has been inspected after the stay has ended. There is a small extra charge for heating / air conditioning which varies according to time of the year.
