A little piece of heaven.

  • 5 of 5

Naudoux was lovely, we spent more time relaxing on this holiday at the house than we have ever done before. All our meals were eaten on the veranda overlooking the beautiful countryside. The pool was amazing and we spent time in and around it every day. The house was a great base for sightseeing the area, as although away from the hustle and bustle it was within easy driving distance of many of the attraction the area had on offer. Our only negative was no microwave but in the grand scheme of things this seemed minor. We would definitely recommend the property and as seasoned visitors to France we would put Naudoux in our top 5.

Serene

  • 5 of 5

Naudoux is an oasis of calm, restorative relaxation. The house is perfectly located with beautiful views across the nearby hills and villages, and is surrounded on all sides by farmers' fields (occupied by lovely Limousin cows), guaranteeing peace and quiet. The saltwater pool is a refreshing reprieve from the summer heat, and gentle on the skin. Access to the property by car is convenient and local services (and sights) are not far off (e.g. 10 minutes to Vayrac, 15 minutes to the Dordogne river). In sum, a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Stunning, the perfect place to go and relax

  • 5 of 5

I went to Noudoux in May and had the most heavenly time there with a bunch of friends. The house is stunning, set deep in the country side, beautiful views, yet only a short distance from local villages and markets. I've actually been three times. When its sunny and warm the poolside day is a dream, and when its not, the big fire inside keeps the house warm and cozy. The house has an altogether charming character. Its the perfect place to go with some friends and cut off and relax.

The perfect escape

  • 5 of 5

I couldn't recommend Naudoux more highly, especially if looking for peace and tranquility and a feeling of escape. It's in such a beautiful setting - hours could be spent sitting on the balcony admiring the views. Or indeed walking in the hills that surround it. The house is full of character and very comfortable. A huge fire for chilly evenings. I can't wait to go back!

Classic French Idyll

  • 5 of 5

Naudoux is a

real treat with beautiful views across the valley. We were a group of friends and we had 5 days of eating fantastic food from the local market, swimming in the pool and going for long walks. There is masses to see in the area and then you come home to big fires and a very comfortable house. This is a house I would enormously recommend, I can't wait to go back.

A lovely place to stay in a be

  • 5 of 5

The moment you arrive at Nadoux you just know it's going to be a lovely place to be.You walk up the steps to the verandah and behold the stunning views over beautiful countryside.Inside the house is very well equipped and comfortable, lived in and homely.we ate all our meals out on the verandah,in the evenings we would watch the deer come out to graze on the hillside, sometimes as many as seven or eight,we also saw a fox on a couple of occasions, with this in mind take binoculars with you.

The surrounding area is a pleasure to explore with several of the beaux village within easy distance,Curemont is an easy walk and a lovely village to explore. The local town of Meyssac is our favourite shopping venue with a really good market and shops also not a bad place to have a relaxing beer or two.

The four of us really enjoyed experiencing the local wines, be adventurous and give them a go,you will not be disappointed.

The pool area is great, a nice big pool to lounge around and relax, and when you get too hot there is plenty of shade, just perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nadoux and hope to make many more visits,it is a beautiful part of France, thankyou.

Guy Jefferies.

Situated between the charming market towns of Meyssac and Vayrac with bars, restaurants and twice weekly markets. 5km from the medieval village of Curemonte and 15 minutes drive to Beaulieu sur Dordogne , a busy market town on the banks of the Dordogne River. The house is within easy reach of several chateaux, caves and of course the Dordogne River. To the west is Collonges-le Rouge, the 'city of little castles', and Turenne, a 15th century village whose high pitched roofs surround two castles from which the foothills of the Massif Central can be seen. To the south and east is the Dordogne valley, with a wealth of villages such as Loubressac, Autoire, Carennac and Martel. The Chateaux of Castelnau, Belcastel and Montal are all close by, while the citadel of Rocamadour is only 30 minutes drive away. For those wishing to explore a little further afield, the world famous Lascaux caves can be reached in an hour, along with the many other attractions of the Lower Dordogne area.

Other Activities: kayaking on the Dordogne
