Smelly & Dilapidated

Fuzzy unfocused and deceiving picture of condo gave false impression of any newness of the furnishings or freshness of decor. I have pictures of all the cracks & scuff marks on the walls, the rust on the door hardware, chipping paint on the ceilings, missing countertop trim, dust balls and filth at the entryway, peeling faux leather on the king size bed, and generally stains, scratches, & ripped fabric on the living room furniture. Dishwashing soap had turned brown with fungus. We promptly organized another property for the week as well as hotel stays to fill in the weekend. Total loss for rental dollars and fees. We will follow up with an Amex payment denial and or refund request. And a note to the Va. Beach tourism and chamber of commerce. These places need independent inspections and standard periodic ratings by independent professionals, rather than relying solely upon faulty public reviews.

Simple Maintenance that would easy the mind

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was an awesome floor plan, the biggest thing that created a uncomfortable stay was the gabs in between the base board through out the unit especially between the master bed and in the floor of the master bedroom made my entire stay uneasy just thinking of all the places bed bugs, spiders etc. Could easily live in ,making to where I didn't even sleep the first night in fear of being bit by something. Simpe fix by caulking the entire unit including the flooring would keep insects and pest out but most of all keep the mind at rest.

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the air condition was not cooling off the apartment the lights didn’t work and the TV did not work I messaged the company and nobody came out to fix anything the furniture was old the beds were not comfortable and the blankets were way too thin I would not recommend this house anybody
