Property within min waking distance of the beautiful beaches. It is situated on a gated compound with a communal and private pool.A clubhouse and exercise room will soon come on stream. Townhouse is fully air conditioned, with all modern amenities. There is a small private pool surrounded by a landscaped garden .It is also 5mins drive from Holetown which has bustling nightlife , wonderful seaside restaurants and a well stocked mini-mall for day shopping. Property is also very close to the Royal Westmoreland golf course and world famous Sandy Lane golf course. The west coast of Barbados is by far its most exiting with several beautiful white sand beaches and many lovely stately holiday homes. It is definitely the place to be to guarantee an enjoyable,enchanted holiday
i'm an orthopaedic surgeon resident in Trinidad but a true caribbean person. Barbados means a lot to us as we have lots of family so we invested in this lovely property in Holetown near the sea well appointed and close to resturants,shopping ,golf and a nice buzz in general.

property is 3 bedroomed all en suite quite large, all appliances and fully loaded.There is also a smalll pool attached to verandah but a larger one available to all residents on the compound.It is 20 mins away from Bridgetown the capital and aprox 40 mins away from the airport. There are 4 beaches away walking distance and aprox 8 mins drive away.There are tennis courts on the compound of this gated community
Lovely townhouse. In lovely setting. Washing machine door wouldn't open so had to use outside washer. Beach towels provided which was a god send. All in all a great holiday. A massive thank you to Rachel also who was so friendly and helpful.
The location in St. James was GREAT! Right down the street from Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane (aka $8000 per night). Tropical Storm Thomas the week before knocked out power and cable so by the time we arrived we had no tv for the week. The location was nice and secluded and amenities were nice. No radio so be sure to bring some musical entertainment. We did book late but were dissapointed when the dishes and grill were not clean. Take the storm & lack of update out of the equation and it could have gotten an excellent rating. Understand you have to pay to use the electricity. Solar panels heat the water so if you like a hot shower understand that is extra as well as the a/c. Ceiling and floor fans help but understand it is HOTT. 8 days, a/c used only downstairs for 3 days, just used ceiling & floor fans cost $150 USD electric bill. So plan accordingly! We will most definitely be looking to book here again!! and Soon!!! Thanks to the owner and staff.
This was my second time staying at Porter's Gate (different villa first time). I must say how well appointed this Villa is, nice furnishings, very comfy beds,enough pots and pans and dishes.I was so comfy I felt like I was in my own home.Let's not forget Rachel, the agent for the Villa, very nice, I had to call her for an error I made and she was there without protest.I will stay here again in a heartbeat plus the rates here are lower than others and you are not getting crap plus it is very safe and secure.
