Great and Comfy

I can't say enough about this condo. The interior was great, roomy, comfortable, and quiet. I would highly recommend and come back to this facility. There was another plus...my dog loved it.

I was not ready to go home!

Wonderful and clean property. Beds are nice and comfortable with great linens. Our family loves to fish off the dock and the private beach access is amazing. This has become our favorite place to visit!

Wonderful time, great location,boat dock, clean condo

We booked this condo because it met our 3 needs - beach access, boat dock, and pet friendly. The condo was very clean. View from the patio was great. Parking was right next to the unit for easy unloading. The beach access was an easy walk out of the complex. The boat dock was awesome. Having the boat right out the back door was convenient and safe. The condo was in a great location on the harbor. Easy ride to crab island or the restaurants. Grocery stores,restaurants, and a 24 hour gym all close by. The owner was easy to work with and gave great recommendations on boat launches and storage. We will be booking again. Overall one of the best Beach vacations we have made. Thanks!

What started as great ended less than satisfactory.

As a boater I loved the boat dock. The condo was comfortable and clean. Running water and electricity at the dock was great. The neighbors were friendly.

Unfortunately we could hear the tenants in the condo above us walking around when we were ready to sleep. That took a little getting used to. Also watch for the hidden step at night between the front and back door on the sidewalk. It got all of us at one time or another. One of our guest fell down and scraped both her knees and one palm so bad they were bruised & bleeding. She even went to the ER later to make sure everything was ok. I haven't decided if I'm passing that bill to the owner yet. I would have given a higher review if the next problem was handled a little differently by the owner. Apparently my son spilt a coke on the bed and didn't clean it as good as he should have. We had no idea it had even happened. After we left we get a text from the owner asking about the stain and accusing us of ruining the mattress. She explained how upset she was and really made us feel like sh-t. The entire ordeal was stressful and didn't need to take place as it did. It was obviously an accident and had I known about it I would have had cleaners come clean it. It's a coke stain, it'll come off. It didn't take her long to file a claim on our renters insurance for a $550 mattress and $50 sheet. Not a big deal but it will keep me from ever returning. Two days previous the sliding glass door handle broke on us. It's a big sliding door and it's heavy and the handle just broke. I ran up to the hardware store and replaced it with the exact same kind she had. I didn't charge her a penny and didn't make a big deal about it. I wish the favor would have been returned. I understand it put her in a tough position but she lost a returning guest due to the way she handled the accident of a child. The only other issue was mystery of the water faucet. We were using the water hose to rinse the beach sand off of everything we had taken to the beach. The hose was next to the back porch. One day we noticed the handle had been removed from faucet so we could no longer use it I sent her a text and asked her about it. She acted as if she knew nothing about it. It was obvious to me that she just didn't want us using the water hose. The last day we noticed a new hose next to the faucet but the handle was still gone. I hope you have a better experience with the owner than we did. Good luck

Perfect for Boaters and Beach Bums

It can be difficult in a lot of areas to find great boat accommodations with great beach access. This place has both all wrapped up in a stylish and comfortable condo. Soon after our arrival, the owner messaged to make sure everything was as expected. It certainly was. There was plenty of room for our boat in the first come/first serve boat slip. I know many boaters are like us - boat services are more important than the condo! The decking was in good shape, water connections with hoses were plentiful and we felt comfortable having our boat there, especially since you can see the dock from the condo patio. The condo is roomy, meticulously clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated. Having a full sized washer and dryer instead of the smaller, stacked combo made daily laundry chores nice. We would not hesitate to request future bookings or to refer Dream Dock to our friends, boating or not.

Wonderful location for a boater

The owner is a great communicator and kept us on task leading up to our vacation. The property was beautiful inside and out. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to bring a boat to the Destin area. A couple things to note that we will watch for on future trips to the gulf:

-Trailer storage is not on site. Not a huge deal but that would have been way more convenient. We paid $20/day at the Destin Marina.

-Must have boat insurance. My boat is under a corporate umbrella policy so I had to buy a Progressive policy to satisfy this requirement. I may have missed it in the initial ad but it wasn't clear when I booked that I recall. For many this won't be an issue but it was a speed bump for me.
