3 Bedroom luxury bungalow sleeps 6-8 within easy walking distance of Aviemore

The Scott's House, a lovely family holiday home at the end of a cul de sac, gives seclusion but not is not remote. Within 10 minutes walk/bike ride alongside the Steam Railway, overlooking the River Spey and the majestic Cairngorm mountain range, you arrive in the center of Aviemore with its bustling Scottish gift shops, traditional restaurants and pubs!

The Scott's House offers comfortable accommodation, with 2 double bedrooms, a three bedded room and a sofa bed. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer. There is a tumble dryer and larger freezer. Secure storage can be provided for bikes in the garage. The large garden with paved patio area, is well laid out and great for outdoor eating. It has a great aspect overlooking the golf course and provides easy access to the Country Club a few minutes away. The Scott's House is perfect for children.

Local membership of the Country Club can be provided for a nominal charge. There is free WIFI for our guests

Additional Information: The Scott's House is strictly a non smoking property and guests are asked to respect this for their safety and the comfort of all other guests.

Linen is provided but not towels and guests are asked to take their own towels for their stay.

Perfect Location

This is a great wee cottage in one of the best locations in Aviemore. As well as being 10 mins walk from the town centre along a beautiful safe path, you can leave the garden by the back gate, and you're 2 mins walk from MacDonald Spey Valley Resort with pool, bar restaurant etc.

The bungalow is well appointed with 2 double rooms, and a triple kids room, one bathroom, a large living dining room, and separate kitchen. Outside there's a large garden front and back, with good quality seating area. Tumble dryer and chest freezer in the garage, and off street parking for 3 cars.

The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. If i was to criticise anything, thee carpet in living area looked a wee bit tired, and decor slightly dated, but really that's splitting hairs.

Good sized TV with sky+, Free wifi with very fast connection, Plenty of hot water and a great shower all ensured we had a great time when it rained.

Lastly Chris, the owner, bent over backwards to help us. We emailed him with a few enquiries, and he got back to us really promptly and found solutions. We will not hesitate to return, and would heartily recommend this bungalow.

Scott's House Aviemore

We stayed here in August 2010 and were pleased to find the house in a good location and in good condition. It is probably the best self catered accomodation we've ever stayed in. The house is well equipped and the bedrooms are quite spacious. Aviemore is a good base to work from because there is no shortage of things to do in the surrounding 50 miles or so. So long as you are prepared for the weather you should have a great time.

On the doorstep of the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by immense scenery, Aviemore is a major holiday resort in the Highlands. Aviemore is a perfect base for visiting local attractions such as the Cairngorm Railway or walking around the beautiful lochs. Nearby is the famous Osprey breeding centre and other activities include snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports, pony trekking and a glorious range of golf courses. Inverness, & the world famous Loch Ness is a short ride away. After a superb day enjoying the activities and the scenery of the Aviemore area, The Scott's House is a great place to come home to. It provides 3 well appointed bedrooms, sleeping up to 7 and is fitted with many facilities to make your stay most enjoyable. It's superbly located with a large private garden with terrace area overlooking the private golf course and provides a safe environment for families with children. Access to the Country Club golf and swimming facilities are available.
