Very Enjoyable and Comfortable Stay in the West End...

Communications with Noah and Julie prior to our arrival were outstanding. It started when I first reserved the flat and my Visa rejected the charge. Noah was helpful informing me and I quickly corrected that matter. Julie was very helpful getting some breakfast supplies for us, as well as working with the cleaning staff to get us into the flat early since our flight from the US arrived in the early morning. We also appreciated her recommendations for some restaurants, markets, bakeries, and wine shops. We enjoyed the furnishing and found everything to be very comfortable and up to date from a technology point of view. Apple TV is great, but we also enjoy having the option of watching live network channels. The flat TV is Apple TV only, entertaining but miss live network stations. Obviously it is hard to beat the location!! Two other items that I would like to mention that would have made our stay even more perfect... 1. I did not understand why you would have 2 air conditioners in each of the bedrooms, but tell us that they are not functional. We’ve seen similar A/C units in rental units in France. Once the moisture collection tank is full, you just empty it and the A/C unit works just fine. The fact we were told not to use the A/C units in the bedroom is still puzzling to us, however we did not want to violate any house rules. 2. For our last night in the flat, we did a super fun shopping spree in the Harrod’s food hall. Once we arrived back at the flat, we were surprised to find that the kitchen pots and pans are lacking. We found the kitchen under equipped with pots and pans to prepare the very nice meal we bought at Harrod’s. A small investment in pots and pans would make it a perfect kitchen. Overall, we loved our stay finding it very upscale and comfortable, and would return to the flat when we visit London again. Therefore I would highly recommend this unit if you are visiting London and would like to stay in the West End. Thank you Noah and Julie. Best regards, Pat

Dilapidated apartment with road noise, tube noise and major security issues

My husband and I rented this apartment for 5 nights.

We rent luxury apartments multiple times a year and have never had issues like this.

Upon arrival it was clear the owner's description is not accurate.

Apartment is on the 1st floor, so there's a ton of road and people noise.

The tube/train also runs next to the apartment every 2-5min causing major noise issues along with shaking in the apartment. All day and all night! This should have been disclosed in the ad.

The air conditioning mentioned are big temporary units sitting on the floor with long round hoses going out the windows. The windows in the main rooms and bedrooms are open, so the vents can go out. The owner had duct tape and thin plastic covering the open places. It is totally not secure, Especially since people are walking and driving by the apartment all day. We could hear people outside like they were in the apartment.

There was no way we were going to leave our passports and valuables in the property when anybody could pull the tape and plastic off and get in.

We stayed only one night of the 5 booked because we didn't get a moments sleep with the tube and traffic noise. It makes sleeping and relaxing impossible.

Additionally, we found the apartment to be dirty and run down.

There was hair in both beds, on the floor and on the furniture.

Bedding and furniture were stained and in poor condition.

There was food and rubbish on the floors and tables.

The apartment looks big in the photos, but it's actually very small and cramped.

Both bathrooms are tiny with no electrical outlets.

We tried to take showers and the water was cold.

The manager and owner know about the issues and do nothing.

The photos do not show the issues with the temporary ac units either.

This apartment is way too expensive to have all these issues.

The owner and manager are trying to take advantage of unsuspecting renters.

Don't be one of them! Book elsewhere and get a clean nice peaceful place.

This apartment is the worst rental experience we've ever had.

Perfect Location

The location was perfect. Very close to many restaurants and shopping. Great walking area and close to the tube. The bedrooms and bathrooms were downstairs and both had plenty of room. Plenty of hangers and towels were provided for our stay. There is a washing machine/clothes dryer combo-all in one unit that could be a bit more efficient. It seemed much easier to wash then hang the clothes to dry on hangers. The dryer provided took an extremely long time to dry the clothes. There is an air conditioner that cools well in the living room. I was under the impression that there was air conditioning throughout the house so was disappointed to find no a/c in the bedrooms. A mirror in the bedrooms would be useful since there is no electricity outlet in the bathrooms. The furniture is all very comfortable. There is plenty of hanging and storage space. Julie was very helpful and when we had a question she dropped by to help instead of only offering instructions over the phone. The location was unbeatable and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cadogan Knightsbridge Residence

The apartment is quite luxurious as described in the advertisement and because I am a big guy I loved that there was a "real" king sized bed which in England they call a super king. This is not the norm in London as I stay in rentals all the time. Fantastic host as well.
