My name is Sara and I am the owner of the apartment MONTAÑO. I am 41 years old, I was born in Bilbao (northern Spain), I have lived in many countries but I chose to live in Malaga because I fell in love with this beautiful city, the people, climate, food ... Everything is great here and I am very happy when people enjoy the city as much as I do.
Montaño is a fantastic apartment (80 metres) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a Historic building restored protected- Grade II-style decimo-nonico Malagueño dated in 1.869. The interior was designed by myself
Few minutes from all tourist Atractions and surrounded by restaurants to try traditional meals and tapas and around 12 minutes walking to the beach.
it is already one week that we are back in Germany after having spent two exciting and relaxing weeks in Malaga. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely come back one day. This is mainly also due to your marvelous and cosy flat. Thank you very much for the Cava and the XMAS tree -both made us feel like at home right from the very beginning. Even the remotest German TV pro-grammes could be seen. At night you couldn't even hear a pin drop. The flat is absolutely quiet and we slept like "stones".
Once we knew our way it was only a short walk to muelle uno, the bus/train station or the cathedral.
Even though we went to different eating places at least twice a day, we couldn't manage to go to all of those we would have liked to visit. Never seen so many nice places to sit and have a drink and something to eat.
We went on a boat trip, to museums ( the automobile one is tremendous ), churches ( even at mid-night on 24th December ), the botanic garden North of the town, Marbella ( best Churros and chocolate ! ) and and and ...
Now we know where to stay next time. Best regards from Germany for the Moment.

Very nice and clean apartment, close to everything, nice location. Definitely, we will come back. Very nice people in Malaga. Thank you, Sara.

Fantastic apartment sited in historic Malaga. Restaurants and cafés very close by and more shopping a 10 minute walk away - even at my speed! The apartment was very clean and had all you need for a short or longer stay. Close to the square where several good restaurants sited. Very good sangria with a twist of cinnamon recommended!
Sara gave us a very warm welcome and help on where to visit and eat. Take her help as it proved accurate. The bottle of cava was also a fantastic welcome - nicely cooled in the fridge.
We also used the train to visit Benalmadina - worth a visit in the quieter season. You may find it a bit busy in the summer. Also shopping at Playa Mayor a good place to spend a rainy afternoon. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to use Malaga as a base or for a short or long break.

This is a really lovely and spacious ground floor flat, in what is a centrally located part of Malaga.
Although I have passed through the airport, and railway stations on many occasions this was my first time in the city and I wasn't quite sure what to expect.
Malaga is a city of contrasts, there is undoubtedly a lot of money, however there is also a lot of beggars, no doubt the current situation in the economy has taken a toll on this city.
Still, I loved the place, and once you get past the initial tower blocks of the suburbs you find a lovely old city with shuttered windows and balconies, tiny alleyways, lovely architecture, real old Spain!
Back to the apartment which is as described in the photos and website.
I was initially a little concerned when I looked on google maps, it doesn't look a particularly salubrious area however it is absolutely fine and as i said before pretty well centred for everything, only a few yards from the Teatro Cervantes and the little plaza there with some lovely bars,( in fact the current top restaurants on tripadvisor are within a couple of minutes walk and), about 200m from the Plaza Merced and the Roman Amphitheatre and Alcabazar.
I spent every day on the beach, which was about a 20 minute walk, with my 9 year old daughter. I am not a beach person but the weather in the first week of November was such that we were able to sunbathe and swim in the Med, I didn't think that would be possible.
Finally, back to the flat. Again it is a lovely spacious apartment and I would be happy to stay there again.
The only issue I had was that of outside noise. The Malaguenos know how to have a good time and I was there over a "puente" holiday, and the noise of people at 5am was somewhat raucous to say the least-and this was people going home, not like me who at that time is more used to be getting up for the day!
Whatever, the people were friendly if the city itself seemed a little chaotic, but that was part of its charm, and at no time did I ever feel in the slightest bit concerned for my or my daughters safety, and this is something I wouldn't be able to say had we been out at night in our own local small rural market town.
Once again, Sara has a lovely apartment here, and she herself is a lovely, friendly person who is easy to deal with!
We stayed in the two bed roomed apartment Montana.
A clean, convenient, comfortable and quiet apartment.
Central location and close to all the attractions in Malaga.
Sarah met us on arrival at the apartment. She is a charming lady and is knowledgeable and helpful.
We walked everywhere and there are plenty of Tapas bars and restaurants around. We stayed in the apartment for one week.
The Teatro Cervantes is nearby and we managed to see the performance of one Spain's top performing flamenco dancer.
We hope to return next year.
We loved Sara and her apt.
She told us all the thing we need for our vacation! She suggest us where to go shopping and eating, and she provvide us a map of the city.
The apt was new and nice, very spacious in the center of Malaga!close to everything!
Sara was super nice with us,she offered us also a bottle of wine, which was very good.
We loved Malaga a lot! i would reccomend this place to everybody!
Thank you Sara!
