Maximum capacity 6 people. All amenities, LCD TV 32', Satelite (all lenguajes), WI-FI, TV, playstation II, DVD, Air conditioning/Heating and ceiling fans too,washing machine and clothes dryer... In the heart of the historic centre, near all amenities, monuments, restaurants, tapas bars, shops, etc... Cervantes Theatre, Picasso Museum, Plaza Merced, Alcazaba, Paseo Maritimo, Cathedral, Calle Larios, Malagueta beach. Ideal for beach holidays and culture.

I am 41 years old, I was born in Bilbao (northern Spain), I have lived in many countries but I chose to live in Malaga because I fell in love with this beautiful city, the people, climate, food ... Everything is great here and I am very happy when people enjoy the city as much as I do.

Montaño is a fantastic apartment (80 metres) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a Historic building restored protected- Grade II-style decimo-nonico Malagueño dated in 1.869. The interior was designed by myself

What makes this apartment unique

Few minutes from all tourist Atractions and surrounded by restaurants to try traditional meals and tapas and around 12 minutes walking to the beach.

Dear Sara,



it is already one week that we are back in Germany after having spent two exciting and relaxing weeks in Malaga. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely come back one day. This is mainly also due to your marvelous and cosy flat. Thank you very much for the Cava and the XMAS tree -both made us feel like at home right from the very beginning. Even the remotest German TV pro-grammes could be seen. At night you couldn't even hear a pin drop. The flat is absolutely quiet and we slept like "stones".



Once we knew our way it was only a short walk to muelle uno, the bus/train station or the cathedral.



Even though we went to different eating places at least twice a day, we couldn't manage to go to all of those we would have liked to visit. Never seen so many nice places to sit and have a drink and something to eat.



We went on a boat trip, to museums ( the automobile one is tremendous ), churches ( even at mid-night on 24th December ), the botanic garden North of the town, Marbella ( best Churros and chocolate ! ) and and and ...



Now we know where to stay next time. Best regards from Germany for the Moment.

An outstanding flat for our family!

We recently stayed at this flat with our family of 5. The flat was clean, spacious and exactly as described. The rooms are nice and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is open and well-equipped and we were happy that we could fit all 5 of us around the table comfortably. The living space is a nice addition if you are intending to sit and relax. We liked that the washer/dryer was outside - in the building's central vent space - very convenient, and much quieter this way. Our kids loved that they had their own bathroom - and we loved that too! Our lovely host Katerina was at the flat waiting for us as promised, and was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and very patient with our questions. She also helped us book a taxi to pick us up and bring us to the airport after our stay. The location of the flat was perfect. Just a few steps out of the true hustle of the old town, so the evenings didn't get too loud, but the heart of the nightlife was only a 5 minute stroll away. It's a very reasonable walking distance to many things. The beach is about 15-20 minutes walking distance and it's a very nice walk. Highly recommended!

Great location, stunning apartment and very helpful owner!

I just came back from a four night stay at this apartment and I have to say this apartment is in a perfect location for those who want to be close to the bars and restaurants as well as the castle and other attractions. As a result there can be quite a lot of road noise and noise from the other revellers but this is outweighed by the location. Most things are within walking distance and the need for taxis is minimal except to/from the airport. The owner was very responsive during our communication and the lady who met us on arrival was also very helpful. Overall it was a great stay!

Clean but with a strong damp smell

The apartment was very clean with modern fittings but unfortunlately there was a very strong damp smell which was overpowering the whole apartment It was also quite dark in the apartment as some light bulbs didn't work and the ones that were working were low energy ones.

Malaga gem

We loved are stay in Malaga and the location of the apartment was perfect. The apartment itself was clean, and set up perfectly with all the amenities we needed. We were able to walk everywhere, all the sites, the beach, even, the taxi station, within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Beth for the champagne and chocolates. That was such a wonderful treat! Would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful apartment

Immaculate apartment within easy walking distance to the centre. Beautifully decorated and is exactly as it looks on the photos.

Extremely high ceilings giving it a very spacious feel. Easily accommodated 5 people.

Spacious, cool retreat in great location

We had a magical time in Malaga for Semana Santa 2017! The apartment prices are quite high for this busy week! There was a slight smell of damp on entering the apartment but it soon disappears (perhaps it's just because it's an old building?) and it is a lovely spacious apartment. It's very clean and everything you need is supplied. The bedrooms are at the back which ensures a peaceful nights sleep. Beds are soft but not uncomfortable. We unpacked and within a very short time we're watching a procession pass by the window in the living room. Hundreds lined the street. The sight of the procession, the sound of the brass band, the drum beat and watching over 100 men carrying the trono was breath-taking. Right from our window! There were many processions throughout the week. We walked everywhere and the location of the apartment couldn't be bettered. The sofa is a little hard so some preferred the fold out single sofa beds to sprawl out on at the end of the day. Wifi was good. Everything else was just fine for our family of four. We enjoyed eating out 95% of the time but it was really nice to have the facilities to cook eggs or toast and make a cup of tea. There were many great restaurants but Cafe Con Libros on plaza de la Merced had a chess board (+lovely staff and food with Victoris beer on tap!) so that brought us back there several times. We loved the stone baked pizzas from the little take away on Calle Gómez Pallete (opposite the Mercado de la Merced) and the craft beers in La Pinta on the same street. It took just a minute to walk back home, past the Teatro Cervantes. Malaga was full of families with young children, beautifully behaved, and grandparents too. There was a safe feeling day and night, which meant we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The Alcazaba and the Castillo de Gilbralfaro should not be missed. The beach is a 20 min walk away and the stroll past shops and restaurants along the pier is interesting. Many stops for ice-cream along the way! All in all, a good experience and a good base. We look forward to exploring this area further next time.
