This home is conviently located to OSU campus and downtown, and is in a beautiful older neighborhood. I would recommend to the owner to equip the house with new bath towels and more kitchen utensils. Our group really did appreciate the coffe, pancake mix and syrup left by the owner for our use!

Great neighborhood close to graduation at Schottenstein Center

  • 5 of 5

This house is in a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to the highway for easy access to shopping and visits with family.  It was four miles from our niece's graduation at the Schottenstein Center.  Our family of eight stayed in Mike’s property for five nights!  Everyone had their own space.  The master bedroom was perfect for our parents and their dog.  It was a quiet retreat for them in the evening. The older kids stayed up playing games in one of the two sitting areas.  In the morning our parents commented about how quiet the house was as they didn’t hear the kids while they played games.  The three bathrooms were spotless!  There was plenty of towels for everyone.  The kitchen was large enough to accommodate eight people.   We felt safe in this house and will book it again in the future!

Great Home for a Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

Mike's place was great! My family (9 people) spent two nights here on our way through Columbus. The house was well stocked, ( the towels were greatly appreciated!) Sleeping space was great with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. The house was spotless and Mike's expectations were very well outlined and easy to follow. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Nice, large house in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

I stayed for 5 nights with my wife and 3 small children. The house was perfect for us. It's large with a couple of living areas and an ample kitchen. The front and back yards are huge and nicely maintained; a great place for our kids (and their cousins) to play. I felt very safe in the neighborhood; it's gorgeous and quiet, with giant old trees and very little traffic.

The house itself was very clean and well-maintained. It's clearly been added on to, as some rooms have a different character from others. But it worked very well for us. The master bedroom was very spacious and pretty far from the bedrooms our kids used. That worked out well for us; for a family with an infant who needs help in the night, it might be less convenient if you plan on putting the baby in a separate room.

The only problem we had was an internet outage just after we arrived, and Mike quickly contacted the cable company and took care of it.

We had a wonderful time and we'd probably choose this house again for our next visit. Thanks, Mike!

Spacious and accommodating.

  • 5 of 5

This is a great home. I've seen photos of this home on this site. I was surprised of how spacious it was. There was 9 of us, and no one had to step over others. With 3 bathrooms, and enough sleeping areas, everyone was happy. Sheets, towels, soaps, and many more items were provided. It really did feel like home. Even down to tiny details like candles, coolers, and spices for cooking.

The drive way to the garage was big enough for 3 or 4 cars. Lots of space for playing in the back yard. This neighborhood is quiet, besides the yellow airplane that flew overhead a few times. That was pretty cool. We'd hear trains in the distance, which wasn't a bother.

The house was very clean. Plenty of entertainment with video games, board games, and even used the grill to BBQ.

The owner was very prompt answering phone calls and emails. I would love to stay here again.

Such a nice area

  • 5 of 5

Mike is absolutely fabulous to work with. He got all our questions answered in a timely manner. The house was much better than what I anticipated from the pictures. This house is one you have to see in person. The only issue we had at all was running out of hot water when 6 adults tried to shower in a half hour time period, but that's our fault. We would stay at this house again if the need ever arises for us to be in the area. The neighborhood is so nice and everything is just a short drive away. I loved that we were doing stuff downtown, but could escape to a quite place.
