Great property in the heart of Rome!
My family of 6 stayed at Luca's property for a week. The location was incredible. Safe neighborhood. Walking distance to most everything (Spanish steps 5 min, Trevi 5 min, Trastavere 20 min, Borghessi 10 min, Vatican 20 min, Colosseum 30 minutes, etc.). Subway is about 1 block away. Plenty of sit-down restaurants and walk-in eateries within 1-2 blocks. Grocery store within 2 blocks. Nice shopping areas within 2 blocks.
Plenty of room in the apartments. (This is actually two apartments that share a common building entrance and are connected via a mini-courtyard.) . WiFi was good although it did drop a couple of times for a few minutes during our stay. Apparently this is a common occurrence in Italy. I was able to use WiFi to get work done in the USA. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom had everything we needed. Plenty of closet space. Easy and accommodating check-in and check-out. We were able to have sit-down dinners for all 6 of us. First apartment (white dinner table) is on the 2nd floor while the other apartment is on the first floor, sort of ground-level but very safe.
Luca was a great host. Easy to communicate with and very helpful. He provided us easy taxi transportation to the train station, recommendations on what to do, restaurants, etc. If you have any questions about anything just reach out to him via email. I would definitely recommend this property.
Last Minute Perfection
We happened upon this rental 5 days before our arrival in Rome, after a long-booked rental fell through at the last minute. It was a lucky break! Luca is an attentive host, and the apartment is spacious and conveniently located. We couldn’t be happier about this rental.
An excellent apartment in an excellent location
We just completed a 10 day stay. The apartment itself is spacious, light, well-maintained and equipped, and quiet. The pictures are very accurate. The location is perfect. If you like to walk, you can reach most major sites on foot within 15 minutes or less, and even the Forum within 25-30 minutes. If you prefer, there are very ample and convenient public transportation options within 1-3 minutes from your door. Also, there are always taxis in the Piazza del Popolo which literally is a block away. The neighborhood provides lots of opportunities for eating and shopping with many good restaurants and shops in all price ranges. In spite of all of this, the neighborhood is not overrun with people. Also, for a change from the bustle of the city itself, Borghese Gardens is a 5 minute walk away. Finally, Luca is an excellent host. He was very attentive to my e mails. Everything that he said he would do,he did, and did it very well. In short, this is a very fine apartment for a visit to Rome.
Perfect location and house was adorable!
Luca arranged for transportation from the airport to the apartment. He was waiting for us when we arrived. He walked us through the apartment and also told us some restaurants and grocery store. The Piazza de Popolo had a 4 night music festival so the evenings were a bit loud in the living room but the bedroom is located in the back of the apartment so it was quiet. Luca also stocked his frig with drinks he thought we would enjoy and a few breakfast items! To top off his wonderful hospitality, he even arranged transportation for us from Florence to airport! It was a fantastic visit in Rome! I would highly recommend staying here! It was our first visit and we would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to everything!
we were welcomed by Luca the owner at our arrival and spent 18 nights in his very well situated flat. We have only positive feedback to report and can recoomend this flat wholeheartedly. We have a long experince as seasoned travellers and have been renting flats for years in different parts of the world and Luca's place will one we would rent again without any hesitation
