About the property

This is a beautiful, 2 story, 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo for rent 1 block away from downtown Durango's Main Street where you have walking access to hundreds of shops, restaurants and entertainment. This home has a gas fireplace to give you that cozy feeling in the winter and air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer! (Permit #13-032) ***As requested we have purchased a larger television for the living room!***

In the master bedroom there is a beautiful king bed, a walk in closet and master bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom is smaller with a queen bed and closet. Both bedrooms are located on the top floor. On the main floor is a full bathroom, dining/living area with a gas fireplace and balcony. The kitchen is at the opposite end with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, equipped with yet another balcony. There is one reserved space with covered parking.

Location! Location! Location!

This condo is located 1 block from downtown Durango's Main Avenue. It is a 25 minute drive to Durango Mountain Resort. It is a 2 minute walk to the World Famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train Station, 5 minutes walk to the Bus Station, Grocery Store, Farmer's Market and 1 minute walk to dozens of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. You get the idea, this condo is all about luxury on the inside and location on the outside. You can walk everywhere!

Our condo has a key pad entry at street level. You walk up stairs to get to the front door and main living level where the living room, bathroom, kitchen and 2 balconies are located. Up one flight of stairs is the top level where both bedrooms and the master bath and closet are located. If stairs are a problem, this may not fit your needs. There is not a laundry facility, but plenty of options in town. An iron and ironing board is available upon request.

***Cleaning fee is $155 from June 1st through September 30th. VRBO does not offer this to reflect in the quote...but our costs go up in the summer for labor so your reservation will reflect this.***

**If you pay with a credit card that is out of the country we will be charged $10 extra for each transaction. The renter will have this amount added to the final balance, or kept from their deposit refund since this is not a cost that I calculated in our prices. You may choose to pay by check or an American credit card to avoid this.**

Location Location Location

My mom and I had such a lovely stay at this condo. It's only a block away from Main St. Durango which made it so convenient when it came to eating out and shopping. Our friends who live 30 minutes away from the condo were so in love with this space and its location. I also enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to park on the street, and that we had covered parking was a real bonus. I can not wait to come back next year so I can ski at Purgatory with my husband. Thanks again for allowing us to stay at this wonderful home away from home. (We didn't utilize the downstairs storage but, it had plenty of space to keep all your ski supplies)

Location, Location, Location

Comfortable, well equipped, clean 2 bed/2 bath in the heart of town within walking distance to a large selection of restaurants, bars, breweries and shops. I was the lone skier in a party of two couples and made the daily 30 minute trip up to Purgatory which has awesome views and great skiing - a fabulous midsize resort with facilities like the big majors but with downhome ambiance.

We loved the condo, the town, the people and the region so much we may make another ski trip and will definitely make a summer trip. Hopefully this unit will be available for rental at those times. Robin is a pleasure to work with and will share her knowledge of the region and local establishments including restaurant favorites.

If you don't mind noise

We enjoyed our stay in Durango. We stayed here based on other reviews we read. The townhouse is very clean and nicely decorated. Our only complaint was the noise. It is on a busy street which the smaller, front bedroom faces. Also in the master bedroom, we could hear the neighbor snoring through the wall as well as their television and music.
