We enjoyed our stay at this flat in Batheastion, just outside of Bath. It was clean and spacious, with really lovely bathrooms. It had everything we needed to fix a few meals. The bus stop is just up the alley and buses run frequently. (Take the #3 bus to the Vale View Terrace stop) The day we arrived was unusually warm and the upstairs got quite warm but the downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. The weather cooled after that & the upstairs was fine. There is a beautiful trail if you go down the road & across the town park bridge. One thing to keep in mind, on Sunday and holidays the bus schedule is reduced.
b. My fiancé and father stayed here for 3 nights just a couple miles from the heart of Bath. The location was perfect for us since we spent 2 of the 3 days sightseeing the surrounding countryside and didn’t have to deal with the heavier traffic in the heart of Bath. The 2 bathrooms were modern and spacious with plenty of hot water. The owner gave me the parking gate code and we had our own spot so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking (there’s a spot for each of the 4 units). The owner was very responsive to any of our needs; they even left a bottle of wine and crackers. The WIFI was fast and overall the place was very spacious spread out over 2 levels (bedrooms on the ground level and kitchen/living room upstairs). I would stay here again if I’m ever in Bath.
Cozy but spacious. Rustic exterior with new interior with all the necessary amenities. Boat or short bus ride into Bath with picturesque village and surrounding countryside. As an addendum for the Aussie traveller St Nicholas church with Australia chapel, the burial site of Governer Arthur Philip, is a 5 minute stroll away. I advise to take the guided boat into town which ends with a profound entrance into the inimitable Bath. The owners were incredibly helpful with all matters. I couldn't endorse this cottage enough and highly recommend the reader to choose this accommodation for bath.
Well equipped. Very nice. Easy bus access which is highly useful getting into congestion of Bath. Morrisons supermarket about a mile toward Bath. Convenience store two blocks down. We enjoyed our stay.
Clean property. Good stay.
Very clean and comfortable. Spacious living / eating area and well-equipped kitchen.
Location was really convenient for public transport into Bath (much easier than trying to find parking). Enjoyable walks along river bank.
Good location also as a starting point to explore The Cotswolds.
The location of the Malthouse makes it a great base to explore all the surrounding areas. The roman city of Bath has been designated as a World Heritage Site, with many fascinating historical sites to be seen, some dating back as far as the first century. The world famous roman baths are not one to be missed. As Well as its history Bath has an abundance of designer shops and boutiques, with a wide and varied choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs. Bath City Centre is two miles away, with a regular bus every ten minutes.
