Our Viking Wharf holiday houses are spectacular to rent. All room views face the water and only minutes walk into kinsale town centre........WE HAVE A NEW house this season, so if dates are booked, please enquire regarding No.3.
This 4 star three-bed town house just a short waterside walk to the town centre with lovely views from all rooms. Finished to an excellent standard with top quality fittings and furnishings. Ground floor - double bedroom; shower-room, den/TV room with flat screen TV and double sofa bed; utility with washer and dryer; first floor - beautiful, bright open plan kitchen/living / dining room with balcony, fire, flat-screen TV, double oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher; second floor - double bedroom with en suite shower-room; twin bedroom with en suite shower-room. Electric and solar heating. Patio area to rear. Broadband, SKY TV. DVD player. Non-smoking. No pets.
We had a great week. Granny wanted to show the children and grandchildren around where she was brought up nearly 50 years ago. We had a great time and packed in loads, boat trips, ghost tours, surfing in Garrettstown. Weather was fab all week. House was all we required and more and we would love to come back. Granny really enjoyed meeting up with family and old friends and we enjoyed the stories and all the walks around town.

This three level home was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. Loved that each of us had a private bathroom, full kitchen so we could cook in a few nights and room so that we could separate out if we needed to. The morning views were breathless. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would book again if we get the opportunity to come back!
The houses were perfect for us. We were 9, in Kinsale for a weeks yacht racing. Lovely position overlooking the river, plenty of room and just a few minutes walk from the town. Donna could not have been more helpful, would recommend to anyone.
The location is amazing! We had a wonderful holiday in Kinsale-great view from the balcony. The house has everything you need for a great stay. Could do with a lick of paint in the off season to spruce it up a bit and I took a 'star' away because there was a smell of damp/mound in the Den, obviously the room isn't being aired enough. This room was planned to be my oldest sons 'zone' but after one night he didn't want to sleep there again because of the 'smell'. Anyway, the house has three other generous bedrooms so it was fine in the end. I made the agent rep aware of this issue and I would presume it will be sorted quickly as Donna really cares about these properties! That aside-amazing place and great house!! Will be going back-definitely!!
Excellent accommodations. Clean and well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. Great location. We also took advantage of horseback riding at an excellent stable near by.
The property is really well equipped has lovely living space. The ensuites are a real bonus. We had a great time, it would not however suit older folk or those with physical disability
Had a lovely stay at this well presented house, that had everything we needed for relaxing and entertaining when friends visited. The small balcony overlooking the water was lovely to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Nice walk to Dock beach, fabulous dinners at several Kinsale restaurants - Fishy Fishy - fabulous, as was Toddies & Finn's Table. Completely spoilt with selection of great eateries. There is also a great fish & chip van at the nearby bridge for take away to enjoy at home. We'll definetely be back!
With easy access to walks and the centre of town being only 5 minute walk, Viking Wharf over looks the Bandon River and the inner and outter harbour of Kinsale. The view is extensive and a minutes throw from the water. The house is a favourite with all who stay here.
