About Owner/Property Manager (Paris)

We are widely travelled, and much prefer the comfort of staying in an apartment on holiday as opposed to the usually sterile atmosphere of a hotel. We love that there is always a lot more space - than a shoebox room. When we rent an apartment ourselves, we expect a clean and functioning apartment with all the amenities we need for an extended stay. A helpful and friendly host who provides lots of information about the city/area is very welcome and we strive to provide this for guests who stay with us!

Why Owner/Property Manager (Paris) chose 5th Quartier Latin

This is one of our favourite parts of the city, we are lucky to have found a quiet street walking distance to all the restaurants we love. When our friends come to visit, they love being able to walk easily to all the tourist attractions that are so close by (Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Cite, Saint Chapel, and the shops on Boulevard Saint Germain). Close by is also the market, as well as speciality shops (boucherie, frommagerie, boulangerie) and the supermarket for all your other necessities.

You will also be hard-pressed to find a nicer / well-located house in the heart of this beautiful city!

What makes this apartment unique

Make yourself right at home in our apartment - with so much great fresh food available on your doorstep, whip up some tasty dinners in the well-equipped kitchen - which is the key to living like a local. We have upgraded our appliances to include an induction stove, dishwasher as well as new microwave oven and large oven.

The apartment also has a washer/dryer, cable TV, and wireless internet.

Perfect for a group of students!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 6 students renting this flat for a semester abroad. It was perfect for our needs and within walking distance to the school however the metro was also direct and closeby. The booking procedure was easy and we had a great stay. The W2F team is in Paris and answered any questions we had throughout our stay as well as fix any minor issues. The cleaning staff was also great. It made our stay in Paris very welcoming and easy! Thank you!

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of six and we stayed in this apartment perfectly situated in Paris! We were just a few minutes walk from Notre Dame, steps away from bakeries, coffee shops, cheese shops, and most importantly, the metro. We struggled a bit with only one shower but having two toilets was very helpful! We appreciated the binder full of information on the house, places to eat, to visit, etc. I really appreciated the instructions on how to use the washing machine also! I would highly recommend this apartment!!

Very nice apartment in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with VRBO and Welcome 2 France and I was exceedingly pleased. We were a party of three ranging in age from college student to senior citizen. I dealt primarily with a young lady at Welcome 2 France via e-mail in making all the arrangements and she was a delight.

The apartment was just as advertised and in a great location; just a half block from Notre Dame on a quiet primarily residential street. It had all the necessary amenities, and then some. Wi-fi and phone calls back to the USA were included and much appreciated. The apartment was also close to Metro and train stations, which made navigating Paris very easy.

We used the transportation service to and from the airport they provided and it was great: door-to-door service and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend that.

We were met at the apartment when we arrived and he explained everything to us. I called him once during our stay for some and advice, which he graciously provided. He recommended a delightful cafe a short distance away, Aux Arts. They have great coffee and very good food. It is actually a combination cafe and art gallery, owned and run by two of the artists, who are delightful people as well as talented artists.

They also recommended a wonderful restaurant, Les Pipos, near the Pantheon. The food, the wine, the service, the music, and the atmosphere were great. We had a wonderful evening there.

I highly recommend Welcome 2 France and will definitely use them again the next time we travel to France. Not only was the apartment just what we wanted, but the people were very professional and gracious in all our dealings with them.

Location, location,location

  • 4 of 5

This is offered as a "luxury apartment", but it is not truly luxury. It is comfortable, and adequate. The apartment location is the best. It is close to all of the sites in Paris. It is also conveniently located for the Metro, shopping, and dining. Paris is a very walk-able city, and this location gets tenants started on the right foot. (LOL) The RUR train from the airport will drop you off at St. Michel, and it is only a 5 minute walk to the apartment.

Notre-Dame at the end of the street. A wonderful bakery at the other end. Cobbles and markets a block away. Paris is magic and this house is the perfect way to experience it.

York Pa

a perfect house for a perfect stay

  • 5 of 5

a wonderful little house on a quiet side street a few hundred feet from the river. Our family of 5 (3 teens) enjoyed the location and the kids still describe the stay there as 'amazing'. From the pick up at the airport to the drop off, the agency that manages the apartment handled everything very professionally and the local guidance was also very good. Having one floor to live on with another to sleep in or escape to proved an advantage (see traveling with teens above). The stair case is narrow but was not problem. The front door opened on to the street, but always felt safe. We usually walked down to the 5th for dinners, but did eat at a great old couscous place on the street one night. This was our first move from hotels to apartments on family trips and we will likely never go back. We would look to rent this house again if we went back and would recommend it specifically to any of our friends heading to Paris
