I am married with three children , we live next door as the flat is attached to the my house, I have lived at this address for over twenty years , all my children are grown up with the youngest finishing UNI this year.

I work as a Gas Safe Engineer and consider myself kind and helpful..

I am easy going and MBA post graduate.

I can pick up and drop to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

This is a ground floor property away from the main road and very quiet , great for walking and admiring the different houses which are all quite unique and wonderful.

Cosy and everything you need

We had a great stay. The unit had pretty much everything we needed. Enough room, even with 2 adults and 2 kids and Nirmal kindly let the kids run around the back garden. Easy entry and exit any time of the day or night. Overall really impressed.

That was perfect !!

We arrived a little bit later than expected but the owner (Nirmal) was still waiting for us ! Our stay was awesome, Nirmal is really kind and available if you need something. The property is cute and good for two persons (even for a couple with a child !). Purley is a nice city and you have everything you need for your stay there (Supermarket, shops, pubs, etc.) !! People are really friendly ;) !!

If you wanna go to London, nothing easier ! You take the train to London Bridge and with your Day-ticket, you can travel in London without any problem !

We recommend this property without any doubt, we had a really great time there !

We can't wait to go back there for our future holidays !

Very good flexible accomadation

This place is exactly as advertised. Nice and clean, whilst it is attached to the owners home it is private and had its own entrance. Parking was available on the driveway. Inside there is gas central heating so it was cosy. The shower is truly fabulous and difficult to get out of!! The bed was lovely and comfortable and the area was peaceful and felt very safe. Host is a true 'gentleman' and nothing too much trouble. He was very flexible when I extended my stay. I will definitely stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend. very good for the price.

Fijne plek om Londen te bezoeken,

We zijn heel tevreden over het 2- kamer appartement. wij waren hier met onze 2 zonen van 14 en 16. In de woonkamer staat een slaapbank die als 2 persoonsbed fungeerde en daarnaast een aparte slaapkamer met uitzicht op de tuin. In tegenstelling tot vorige review hebben wij prima geslapen. Het is geen groot appartement maar voor het doel waarvoor wij hier waren, overdag Londen, bezoeken.

Prima keuken en douche. In de zomer kun je ook nog lekker buiten zitten.

Het gastenverblijf zit vast aan het huis van de eigenaar en staat in een mooie rustige buurt.

Op 8 minuten rijden van het station van Purley en vandaar met de sneltrein in 30 minuten in London Brigde.

Bad Beds and Bug Bites

The beds in the rental are uncomfortable, not restful sleep. The one bed you could feel the springs, the other "bed" was a futon that was not good for sitting on and sleeping was very uncomfortable. Cooking was an adventure with one knife and one wooden spoon for cooking and needed more utensils for proper cooking We experience many bugs, mostly spiders and we all left with many bites all over our bodies. The location was good and close to the train and the shopping was close and thy had great pubs and grocery stores for home cooking after a long day sight seeing. The rental was clean and there was little provided, The first day we had to go and get toilet paper an paper towels, there was no washcloths there so we had to purchase face towels for showering. Great neighborhood and it would benefit from a new futon and a new mattress.

Cozy, affordable retreat

We spent an enjoyable week here. Nirmal is a gracious host, picking us up at the train station on our arrival despite the late hour and dropping us off on our departure day. He also gave us a brief driving tour the following morning so we could find our way around town. The unit is exactly as pictured and advertised, and although somewhat small, it is bright and clean. It is attached to his house, so he was readily available when needed. A 20 minute walk got us to the train station which depending on time of day, is a 25-35 minutes ride to Victoria station where we could catch the tube. The neighborhood is quiet, with very little traffic. A massive supermarket in town has a fabulous selection of items at reasonable prices. The unit includes a stove, fridge and microwave so we were able to cook our meals and pack lunches. An added touch of hospitality was the bowl of apples Nirmal left in the kitchen that we snacked on all week. The washer/dryer enabled us to wash our clothes at the end of the week-a nice amenity to have. Dishwashing liquid and clothes detergent was provided, so that was two fewer items we had to spend money on. Secured wi-fi was also available. We recommend the property to other travellers. If we visit London again we will definitely consider staying here. We gave the unit a 4 star instead of 5 star rating because the living room has a futon rather than an upholstered sofa. After a long day of sightseeing we would have preferred something more "cushy" to come back to for the evening.
