Pollensa: The northern most spurs of Sierra de Tramuntana are the backdrop of the Mallorcan town of Pollensa. The town has a medieval historic quarter that sits only a flew kilometres away from the Mediterranean sea. This town, in the shadow of the Puig de Maria and Calvari, has managed to preserve intact its personality, despite being only a short distance from the bustle of the beach. Pollensa has been a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. The main square with its pavement cafes and chic restaurants is the hub of the towns unique charm. There are a lot of art galleries and museums. Throughout the year one can enjoy a variety of musical events and fiestas amongst which the most famous ones are those which take place in the Santo Domingo Cloister. The town is open all year round with walkers, cyclists and bird watchers taking over from the Summer tourists in the cooler months.
Notes on accommodation: The kitchen is endowed with the necessary utensils for cooking to be quick and convenient. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. In each apartment you will find tools such as the ironing board, iron, hair dryer 2000W, and hangers. The apartments have air-conditioning and heating units, and the added extra benefit of centrally heated radiators, making them ideal for stays all year round.
Accessibiliy: The building has excellent accessibility from the parking area and main entrance to the different apartments through a modern lift, which stops right outside the apartment’s entry door. The apartments have a separate ground level storage room that is suitable for buggy and bike storage.
I'm the owner of those lovely apartments located in a heart of Pollença.
I was the promoter of this building some units was destined on sale, and my wife and I we decorated personally some others destined on vacation rent.
R. Siquier purchased this apartment in 2009
Why to choose ours Apartments?

You can find in ours Apartments all that you need: comfort, quiet, near the center, modern bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, elevator, WIFI, and a place for a car at the basement of the building.
We had a great stay. We love the town anyway, but staying so close made it even better for us. The apartment was very clean and had everything to hand you could need for preparing your own food and meals if you so wished. It was on a quiet street, with a lovely children’s shop below it and even a barbers (I can recommend the haircuts!) Across the street was a café/bar with lots of friendly locals sat outside throughout the day. It was just a few minutes walk to the main square and only minutes from a number of green grocers selling amazing fruit and veg. Raphael the owner was very friendly and accommodating and met us on arrival. We also had his number in case we needed anything during our stay. There was an underground car park (my only comment is that it was a little tight and involved lots of reversing and moving to get parked up, or maybe that was just me :) so your car was off road. There were some parking spaces across the road which could be used, but not on the Sunday due to the market, but to be honest, after watching the barber reverse between two parked cars, nudging them both forward and back, I’d not recommend parking a hire-car or any car there. He could cut hair, but parking was not his strong suit! The market is every Sunday and the market stalls ran all down the road outside, that was really nice to see. Also, the minute it finished the street cleaners arrived and it was like the market never happened. Everywhere was spotless! My only other comment is maybe the apartment wasn’t 100% child friendly due to the spiral stairs up to the roof terrace. If you have inquisitive children, you basically spend your time following them up and down to make sure they are ok. That is the only thing I would comment on. Aside from that, it was perfect! Thanks!!
The location of the apartment was perfect to explore everywhere we had planned, and we were able to go out every night and find ample choice of places to eat & drink! Would highly recommend Restaurant La Placeta for great food & wine plus excellent service at reasonable prices.
The apartment was as we expected & more with the owner willing to help whenever needed. Only slight criticism was that whist we knew the market was to take place on sunday we were not advised it was on the street we were staying on and our departure (on the sunday)could have been a lot more difficult, if we had delayed more than we did.
If you have a car and a stout resolution for driving then I suggest a trip to the beach at Formentor, and if you feel really adventurous, carry on to the lighthouse!!!!
Would recommend to anyone and look forward to our possible next stay.
White Attic - Stayed the last week in April 2016 before the start of the holiday season. Modern, clean, welcoming and well equipped second floor two bedroom apartment with a spiral staircase leading to a flat roof which had a table and four chairs and two sun beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and separate air conditioning. The kitchen has new hob, fridge freezer and dish washer and there is a shared washing machine on the ground floor. Underground car parking but takes a bit of manoeuvring to position the car so use a small car. Bakery next door and supermarket, butchers and grocers within 7 minutes walk. The apartment is in the heart of the town but was surprisingly quiet. Less than 5 minutes walk away is the major square which hosts around 8 restaurants and there is a very friendly atmosphere. Sunday is market day so the street to the apartment is blocked off from 7.00 to 14.00. Excellent accommodation for the two of us and we had a friend stay with us for a few days who was very happy with the second bedroom.
This is our 3rd stay in the white attic & found it to be in the same excellent condition as before. It is great to have everything on your door step including the bakery next door & the small local bar across the street. They even let us order coffee to take up to the apartment & return the crockery later. Even managed to park the car underground when necessary. The owner Rafel is extremely helpful & friendly. We will return.

This spotless apartment is equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The roof terrace is fantastic with sun all day, and a lovely spot for breakfast.
There is your own laundry room and parking space. The lift makes carrying any luggage or shopping a breeze!
The centre of Pollensa is literally a 3 minute walk, and there is a lovely bakery downstairs. So handy for fresh bread and croissants for breakfast.
We could find no fault with this apartment and would highly recommend it. The owner Rafel was extremely helpful with local information and made the booking and arrangements very easy.
We previously visited this apartment in 2010 and it was good to find it in the same excellent condition, very clean and with a few added attention to details. It is great to find an apartment where a lot of thought has gone into the final furnishings & equipiment. Very modern & stylish.
It is an excepptionally airy compartment even in the high September temperatures we had with the benefit of a roof terrace when you want to lounge in the sun.
We had a smaller car this time which made the underground parking better, Local baker on the same block & various local cafes & deli's all close by. For coffees & a drink, these local cafes & bars away from the main the square are very inexpensive with very friendly local staff. We will re-visit again in the future.

Pollensa is a peaceful and tranquil town that remains very typically Spanish. It is four miles from the coast, nestling between two hills at the eastern end of the Sierra Tramuntana mountains. Pollensa itself is indisputably pretty. Historic buildings with ochre roofs, sun-backed walls and wooden shutters line the narrow and twisting medieval streets. There are pastel-painted houses in the centre and Moorish water mills on the outskirts. It is also a haven of sleepy Mallorcan traditions - cafe life and the siesta roll on here as they always have. The heart of the old town is the central square, Placa Major, where there are many cafe-bars and fine restaurants. Pollensa also has lots of galleries of Mallorcan art and design, and town museum. The most famous walk in Pollensa is up the 365 steps of the tree lined 'Calvario' - the Calvario Hill. There is a tiny church at the top with amazing views over the town and across wooded valleys to the sea.
Other Activities: Trecking
Golf: One mile to Pollensa’s Golf Course. It opened in 1986 and was completely renovated in 2000. The greens are kept in perfect condition. There are two lakes and lots of native vegetation, especially trees, olive trees and pines. Pollensa Golf Club offers a host of activities and services, including a driving range with putting green and launch area, a golf school with professional golf lessons. The course has nine holes, medium difficulty, and is ideal for all players. The other near by golf course is the Alcanada Golf Club, which is seven miles away. It opened in 2003, and was designed by Robert the sea.Trent Jones Junior. The highlight of the design of the course are the views of the bay of Alcudia. Alcanada Golf Club is the only golf course in Mallorca which is next to the sea
