North Star is a lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath loft apartment with an open floor plan, large windows and 4 skylights that make this a bright airy apartment. North Star is a 2nd floor apartment in a historic building located in the fishing village of Ilwaco, Washington on the southern end of Long Beach Peninsula.
Large open dining area, comfortable luxury living room with flat screen Smart TV, Netflix, DVD player and IPod attachment. Computer desk with high speed WIFI is included. There is a complete kitchen with all appliances and cooking and dining implements.
Two spacious bedrooms, two queen size beds, each bedroom has adjoining private, all tile, bathrooms. All linen and towels are provided. Sleeps a maximum of 4 guests only.
The apartment has a full laundry room with a washer and dryer for your use.

Leadbetter Point: On the northernmost tip of the Long Beach Peninsula, separating the Pacific Ocean from Willapa Bay, Leadbetter Point State Park & Wildlife Refuge is a great spot for hiking and bird watching.
Oysterville: Journey back in time in Oysterville, where the entire town is on the National Register of Historic Places. And don't forget to eat some oysters!
North Head Lighthouse: Construction of North Head Lighthouse began in 1896. Along with the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, North Head Lighthouse has helped mariners navigate safe passage to the treacherous entrance of the Columbia river.
Cape Disappointment State Park: This is part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. Visit two historic lighthouses at Cape Disappointment State Park, kayak on several amazing waterways, hike or bike the 12 mile Discovery Trail.
Cranberries, fresh seafood, including crabs, tuna, sturgeon, salmon, halibut, clams and oysters are just some of the things we do best. You can pick your own Blueberries on Sandridge Rd in Aug. Willapa Bay is home to the purest-tasting oysters anywhere. Fresh seafood right off the boats at the Port of Ilwaco’s two fish markets. You can find all these culinary treasures on most local menus.
During the summer, the Port of Ilwaco hosts the Saturday Market with about 70 vendors, there is a great selection of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. The Port of Ilwaco is also home to many terrific activities including the two day “Blues & Seafood Festival” every year, the crab pot Christmas tree in Dec and the Tuba Christmas celebration at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum.
Just up the road in Long Beach there is lots to do, including arcades, carnival rides, go carts and miniature golf. You can also visit the Kite Museum or take a horseback ride on the beach. Long Beach also is home to the world famous International Kite Festival every August
With galleries, restaurants and bars Discovery Awaits you in and around Ilwaco.
Please note that during the week of the International Kite Festival, a 5 night minimum stay is required. Kite festival is the third full week of August every year.
A $95 cleaning fee will be charged PER STAY (not per night) and the cleaning fee cannot be waived. If staying longer than 7 days the cleaning fee is $150.00. Sales and lodging tax is 9.9% and is in addition to the nightly fee.
If paying by cash, check or credit card, a $250 refundable security deposit will be due at the time of rental.
