Our two bedroom chalet style cottage has a wall of glass facing the bay and waterside deck. The great room is large with a cathedral ceiling. There is a queen sleep sofa in the great room, a cozy wood-stove for our brisk mornings or evenings, and plenty of room to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wall oven, JennAir cooktop, and fridge (sorry no dishwasher). The bedrooms are upstairs and are adjoined. One has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. This is a great, quiet location right on the water. We are a short 20-30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We are five miles from Ellsworth and all your shopping needs.

A special location with sunset views
Beautiful spot! Great sunsets, tides, birds, peaceful views. Owners were very supportive. The place is cozy, not elegant (Fine with us). Bedrooms are upstairs but only bathroom is down steep stairs. Be aware if that’s a problem for you. And read the fine print— you’re supposed to bring towels and bed linens. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Exactly as presented
Everything was exactly as written up. It was especially nice that there was hand soap other essential items. The bed was fine (sometimes these places have beds that can be too hard or too soft but not this one). There were fans, an air conditioner and heating if needed. It was perfect. Quiet and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing.
Location is WONDERFUL
Property suited my family’s needs very nicely and The owners were very responsive and friendly.
Gorgeous view, comfortable lodging.
The "Boat House" served our family for the week. Loved the amazing view of the bay. Only suggestion - more fans! We had our trip during an odd hot spell (was 94 degrees for 3 days in a row!) which made things inside a bit sticky. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Pictures don't do it justice!
We stayed at this property for three nights while visiting Acadia and loved every minute of it! It is a spacious boathouse with all of the amenities, amazing sunsets, close proximity to Acadia, unbelievably comfortable furniture and dog friendly. Need I say more??
