One cannot fail to be impressed by this magnificent family palace built in an elevated position and presenting panoramic sea and mountain views. The impressive ornate entrance with automatic garage door opens into the secure underground garage. A lift from the garage takes you to the living area level. The front door opens into a large open hallway which leads you into the extremely large 50m2 salon with dining area, open fireplace, recessed spot lighting, TV, patio doors leading to sun terrace and entrance to large fully equipped modern kitchen. The kitchen opens into a utility room which has a door leading to the garden. On this floor are 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite), a guest bathroom and a separate shower room. The spiral staircase leads up to a double bedroom and extra sofabed with TV which in turn leads to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a patio door to a sun terrace. Outside there are four terraced garden areas with mature plants and trees, a good sized swimming pool and a separate guest house with a double bedroom. The things meant to increase your comfort include: tasteful décor, marble floors throughout, integrated hot/cold A/C in all rooms inclduing the guest house, state of the art irrigation system and alarm, large heated swimming pool and satellite TV installation.
The villa is within 2 minutes walk of 2 restaurants and a bar, just 500 metres walk to the nearest beach, also 500m walk to a street full of restaurants, 1km walk to El Chaparral Golf Club, and just a 20 minute walk into La Cala - a local fishing village nestling in a bay with pretty sandy beaches, shops, bars and a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes.
Situated in a very quiet position, in a small well run and maintained urbanization, this villa may offer you and your family the comfort you are searching for.
We also have a luxurious front line 3 bedroom beach apartment which is at approximately 20 mins walk away and can be seen under property id 428253.
Our family are spread throughout main land Europe and the UK and met up at the 'Palace' for Christmas.
The property was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. A welcome pack of essentials (includindg wine!) was very much appreciated.
Wilrik ,the owner, was available, friendly and very helpful from our initial enquiry all the way through to departure.
The equipment and furniture are all of excellent quality and the heated pool was a real luxury.

A great house with room for a big community and large enough for everyone to "be themselves". Beautiful view and in a nice area with walking distance to the water and interesting tourist attractions.
We all thought that the standard was very very high. Also meet and greet was a pleasure and a warm and informing welcome to the Villa Monte. We hope to be back in Villa Monte some day!
I would like to thank the owner for renting his beautiful Villa Monte to us during our summer vacation week in sunny Mijas from 16 July to 23 July 2016. From our very first contact to him in October last year to our leaving the Villa 23 July 2016 the correspondence with him has been characterized by a professional and swift exchange of communication and we have all the time felt that we were in contact with an honest and diligent landowner.
The Villa is indeed impressive and the layout with four different levels starting at the Villa entrance at ground floor and ending at the top master bedroom combined with different charming outside places continued to positively surprise us. The Villa is in all aspects well-functioning both inside and outside and everything is well maintained. The outside area provides the ability of enjoying a beautiful view over the sea during daytime and nighttime. And we enjoyed the calm and friendly neighborhood.
The newly renovated kitchen area with state-of-the-art appliances, dishes, glasses etc. accommodated to the full extent our family’s (9 adults) needs for facilities to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and handle the dishwashing afterwards.
We had a fantastic week in Villa Monte and we do not hesitate to recommend potential tenants to embark on a journey in villa Monte.
The Villa Monte is beautifully located with magnificent views of the mountains and Mediterranean. The neighbourhood is lovely and quite safe . It is close to several towns like Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella and Mijas Pueblo. The villa is spacious and the rooms are well appointed the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a full-size oven and hob, refrigerator/freezer with ice- maker. We spent a lot of time on the upper patio area which was comfortably furnished for lounging. All of us loved the swimming pool and nobody wanted to leave. I highly recommend renting Villa Monte!
After getting a bit lost on the way from the airport,after following the written instructions(we felt it should have been take the left road to avoid the toll road,)we arrived at the Villa Monte,where we met Isabel,who did not have a lot of English,the lounge was a lovely size,and the pool and terrace were very nice.The kitchen was up to date and well equipped,our only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack - milk would have been appreciated.we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening.The bedding was a little unusual,having just a quilt cover and bedspread,I personally did not like the mattress topper,but the rooms and bathrooms were suited to our needs.
We had a lovely week,although we found the road system a bit confusing,and we loved La Cala,and had a great curry one evening delivered by the Punjab Palace,while eating on the terrace.I think there were rather a lot if steps,but it was very peaceful,and the flowers beautiful.All in all a great family holiday!
Villa Monte was a stunning house with a wonderful view. It was very spacious and provided ample living space for 11 people. The neighbourhood was peaceful with a number of good restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this 'palace' and is a great holiday destination for everyone of all ages.
Urbanisation Las Farolas is just 500 metres walk to the nearest beach, within 2 minutes walk of local beach restaurants serving local cuisine and seafood dishes and just a 20 minute walk into La Cala - a local fishing village nestling in a bay with pretty sandy beaches, shops, bars and a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes.
