Hello! My name is Ilona and I am Hungarian born currently residing in Laguna Beach, CA USA
This property has been in our family for a long time. I don't spend as much time there any more and would be happy to share it with you. I hope you will enjoy it as much as my family does.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2000
Best location in the Center of the city. Large and spacious floor plan with beautiful city and Synagogue views from 6 windows and 2 balconies. Very quiet street yet close to everything. Perfect for your vacation!
Six of us stayed here comfortably. 2 full bathrooms. Right in the heart of the city and near underground stop. We used kitchen for cooking a meal. WiFi works well. The only negative was that it was very loud at night with windows open due to people outside late night / early morning. Would recommend sleeping with windows closed :)
This apartment was perfect. Great location, safe, clean and provided everything you might need for your stay. Viki met us just as promised, helped with questions, advice, walked us to a store our first night in town and arranged cabs for us to get to the airport. Really delightful!
We loved the location of this apartment! Right off the hop-on, hop-off bus stop, and city bus stop. Only a few blocks away from the metro where there was a ton of shopping and restaurants. Apartment was clean and roomy. We had 5 people and everyone had their own space. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we came back!
Our stay in Budapest was the best. From the 1st time I contacted Ilona, to our leaving her beautiful vacation home we were pleased with everything. Ilona was always quick to respond to my many queries. When we arrived in Budapest we were met by Viki and she too did a great job showing us around the apartment, and explaining the workings of all appliances. Imagine our surprise when we asked Viki if she could give us any ideas about getting to the airport, our flight was leaving Budapest at 6:30 am. Her answer was a phone call and everything was arranged. Viki gave us info on getting to Budapest from Vienna by train on instructions on how to get to the apartment by subway. Grocery stores and restraunts are right by the door. Everything about our experience in Budapest was the best ever. Shirley Vibert. Canada
This apartment was beautiful, comfortable, spacious with very high ceilings and perfectly located. Veronika greeted us, exactly on time, and showed us around. We had everything we needed, there were many guide books, maps and information in the apartment. I was impressed with everything. When we left on a Sunday morning to return to Prague via the train - I had left forgotten our bathing suits in the dryer. Imagine my surprise when I looked out the window and saw Veronika who had come to find us at the station to bring them to us! Nicest hostess ever!!! And the apartment is stunning!
Our party of 8 stayed in the apartment for four nights toward the end of November. We were a 2 minute walk from the metro, a 1 minute walk from the tram/bus, and a 0 minute walk from the Hop On Hop Off Bus Great Synagogue stop. There are three cafes right out the door--the Zenit offers a nice breakfast. There is a SPAR grocery store across the street. Like I said, it's the perfect location!
The kitchen is very nice, and the washer and dryer were much appreciated since we traveled to Budapest with carry-on luggage on German Wings. There are plenty of outlets throughout the apartment, which was nice.
The only issues we had with the apartment were that the toilet is quite loud, so using the facilities in the middle of the night is noisy for a few seconds. Also, an armoire in the middle bedroom would be lovely.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Budapest.
Thank you, Ilona! And thank you to your friend Viki, who met us when we arrived and departed.
