Short stay in a great apartment

  • 4 of 5

Fitted in at the last minute, after being let down by another place - we were prepared to have to put up with rather less than we'd hoped for. However, no such disappointment! The apartment was bright, modern, clean and nicely kitted out. Our hosts were helpful and kind, and had stocked the fridge with great goodies for our first breakfast. We ate at the pub two nights, and cooked in the flat for the rest of the time. The only downside was that the second bedroom is very small and has no hanging space. It really wasn't big enough to accommodate two adults on very hot nights - so one of us migrated to the sofa bed, with a sleeping bag we had fortunately brought with us, just in case. So all was well.

All in all, a great find and we spent a fantastic few days visiting various places in the Cotswolds, using France Lynch as our base.

Fantastic place to go for a relaxing peaceful break. Property has everything you need plus a complimentary breakfast package that was most appreciated! Pub next door with great food and drink and friendly staff.

Lovely area but this cottage is small for four

  • 3 of 5

We had some great walks and found some lovely pubs, especially the Lamb at Eastwick. The cottage is fine but the 2nd bedroom was very small for two adults.
