Fantastic get away cabin. Everything you need to get away from every day stresses. We will be back!!
Super beautiful, peaceful location!
My husband and I spent the week relaxing in the cozy cottage just steps from the water at high tide- very quiet and restful- very comfy bed! Hope to stay here again! Thanks so much-
also found a terrific seafood market in Milbridge- Chipman's Wharf-
Sweet little cottage with breathtaking ocean views!
The cottage was the perfect getaway for the two of us and our yellow Lab, Sage! It was so cozy and adorably decorated, with endless ocean views! The location was perfect - close to Schoodic Point, and only about an hour to Acadia. Lots of cute little towns to explore, too. We loved the secluded location, with so much peace and solitude, yet an easy drive to restaurants, groceries, etc. Also lots of great areas to walk our dog by the camp, which he loved! Many thanks to Amy & Pam for sharing their charming idyllic retreat!
Just as amazing as the first time we stayed here!
Beautiful and relaxing! We had fantastic luck finding sea glass just in front of the cabin. The sunsets were beautiful and the cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We are already planning our trip back next year!
Perfect place with spectacular view
This cottage was the perfect choice for our trip to Maine, specifically Acadia National Park. The views and the location were stunning. The provided amenities were perfect, and just what you would need. We would return in a heartbeat. Loved everything about it.
Rustic & charming Maine getaway
This cabin is one of the most unique rentals I've experienced to date. Rustic and charming. It was magical waking up by the ocean - the water was so calm and quiet. Wish I brought water shoes to go for a swim but we put our feet in at low tide and looked for shells on the shore. At night we watched the moon's reflection glowing on the ocean's surface. The porch and swing were really nice, too. Truly an escape where we lost track of time (and all those mundane to-dos). Loved driving down a dirt road to get here.
The host left little notes on top of family heirlooms, asking us to handle them with care. We learned it's a family cabin, built in the 40's, and originally belonged to a sea captain named Red. So special. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
PS - we brought extra water for drinking, making coffee, and for our pet. The tap water is fine for dishes and showering - double checked with the host.
