About Frazier Worth

We have lived here for about 20 years. We completed the Cottage in 2012. Jenny is a family physician. I am a teacher. We have 2 children, one in college and the other in high school.

Frazier Worth purchased this cottage in 1994

Why Frazier Worth chose Asheville Area

The Cottage is in a quiet pastoral, farming community. We like the privacy and peace we find here. We've spent a lot of time working on the gardens, flowers, and landscaping. You can pick raspberries in the morning to put on your cereal and have fresh lettuce on your sandwich at lunch.

What makes this cottage unique

The Cottage is our project. We designed it to be very comfortable for a couple. It is simple but elegant with everything you could need. There is a lot of light, front porch and deck, and internet.

Excellent little cottage. Close to town and well worth the trip

  • 5 of 5

This cottage looks deceptively small, but once you're inside you see there's really quite a lot of space. The couches + chairs were very comfortable, all the appliances that we used worked great, and the upstairs bedroom area is really cozy. Only about 15 minutes to Asheville proper to boot

Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the area! Nice and relaxing retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while still being a quick drive to downtown asheville. Frazier was very nice. Must try the oyster brew company on your stay!!

Beautiful and cozy place

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a weekend. Great cottage that is secluded and quiet and located in a beautiful area. Full kitchen if you want to cook with a grocery store nearby. Quick access to downtown Asheville which has great places to eat and a fun place to visit. Blue Ridge Parkway is absolutely breathtaking and requires a visit. We didn't have much contact with the hosts but they were gracious all the same. Would visit again and highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here with our 6 month old. We loved it! The cottage is very clean and kept up. The scenery is also awesome! Would definitely recommend to friends and would visit again myself.

We are located 20 min SE of Asheville. Asheville sights include The Biltmore House, Blue Ridge Parkway(10 min. away), eccentric, vibrant downtown with shopping, music and excellent restaurants.

Closer to our home there are quiet country lanes for walking and beautiful countryside.

Asheville has become a fine dining destination with too many fine restaurants to count. We love to go out ourselves and we can guide you to many of the best restaurants. Asheville also has many local beer breweries, making Asheville a great place to sample the best of independent brewing. Downtown is alive until all hours of the night with many coffee shops and bars many of which offer entertainment.

We also enjoy hiking in the area or just going to a local swimming hole in a beautiful creek or one of several rivers in the area. Rafting and canoeing are easy options here, also biking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Rock climbing is also available at nearby Chimney Rock State Park.
