The building is superbly situated in the centre of the village close to all amenities including great places to walk, a thriving fishing harbour, yacht club, Deer Park public golf club, restaurants, bars and public transport including the DART train service taking you directly into Dublin city, so no need for a car. However, if you decide to have a car there are two underground parking spaces available which at peak season is a great advantage as there are a lot of tourists and limited parking. The apartment is the front ground floor left section of the building overlooking the harbor. While the building is situated centrally it is a quiet, secure & tranquil place where you can enjoy life passing by without any noise or fuss. In the summer & spring time you can enjoy your morning coffee on the back patio which is south facing .The furnishings and decor are a quality that you would not typically find in a holiday rental with artworks and antiques akin to a 5 star hotel. The main living room is a very generous sized room with Feature high ceilings and oversized windows and has a separate dinning area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed & an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a generous sized with a double bed and is next to the main bathroom. There is a separate kitchen that is well equipped with high spec fittings. All bed linens and towels are supplied and are of 5 star quality. The apartment exudes warmth and hospitality of the owners who are on hand in Howth to ensure you have a very enjoyable stay.

Great location, well-appointed apartment, attentive proprietors.
This being our first visit to Howth, we were delighted to discover that the apartment we chose was ideal in every respect, and will certainly be our choice for future visits. The location is great: a 3 minute walk to the DART station; a 2 minute walk to the West Pier, which features several of Howth's best restaurants; easy access to both the Harbour Road commercial sites and those of Main Street up the hill a bit; and the Cliff Walk. The apartment itself is spacious and tastefully appointed (in our opinion anyway), with high ceilings, ample natural light, quiet bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. One bathroom is separate, and the other is en-suite: it should be noted that the shower stall in the en-suite bathroom might be a bit snug for some people's taste, but everything functioned well and water-pressure and temperature were excellent. Pat and Anne were gracious and charming hosts: they were readily available for the few questions we had during our stay and always quick to respond. We had a fantastic visit, and hope to come back in the not-too-distant future!
Thanks Ken for your generous review I am glad you enjoyed and hope we can welcome you back to Howth sometime in the future.
Thanks again for staying with us

Our group of six ladies touring The Emerald Isle found this charming farmhouse a wonderful home base for our daily adventures. Dan and Anne were wonderful hosts! We arrived to find necessary food supplies for our nightly needs! Their thoughtfulness was certainly appreciated!
Dan met with us one morning to offer itinerary suggestions and certainly was knowledgeable of the area!
We would highly recommend staying with them at the wonderful 300 year old farmhouse! We loved it!
Thanks Gail delighted you enjoyed the stay.

Lovely apartment with all the comforts of home.
We had a wonderful three night stay in this lovely apartment in Howth. It was the perfect first stop for our two-week family vacation in Ireland. Pat was very kind and helpful to my very tired and jet-lagged family. The apartment was clean, beautifully furnished and so comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect: within walking distance of food, drinks, shops & DART. This apartment was above and beyond our expectations. I would have loved to stayed longer!
Thanks Elizabeth appreciate the positive feedback and I am delighted you enjoyed and I hope to welcome you back in the future

Hope to see you back in Howth sometime in the future.
The apartment is gorgeous and very well appointed. It was easy to walk to everything and quick access to the dart. The beds were very comfortable, and there was little noise outdoors. We had trouble with the internet/TV throughout our stay—not sure what the cause was.
Thanks Jennifer delighted you enjoyed your stay and I am sorry about the Broadbrand it sometimes is unstable and I have left a mobile option at the apartment to cover this eventuality.
Appreciate your review and hope to see you back in Howth sometime in the future.
Howth is in the top three tourist destinations in Dublin, it is a working fishing village and has a lovely harbor & pier area to stroll and relax and enjoy the local produce. If you enjoy walking, from the harbor to Howth Head, there’s something for every level of walker in this fishing village. Try the Bog of Frogs Loop for scenic views of the cliffs, Lambay Island and the Baily Lighthouse. There are four route options, so once you you are in the village look out for signs displaying directions or visit the local tourist office.
For something a bit gentler, take a stroll down the pier. From here you can take in the views of Ireland’s Eye, a beautiful island that’s just a 15-minute boat ride away. Explore its long sandy beach, take in breath-taking views of Dublin Bay, go bird-watching, see a Martello Tower up close or even try your hand at fishing.
While you feel far away from city life, you can access the city easily and enjoy the best of both worlds.
Our apartment while opposite the harbor is a very peaceful spot and our visitors comment on how quiet and restful it is, you only have to walk out the gate and everything is at your doorstep.
