Non-smokers only. Just go down the elevator from this lovingly renovated and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment to find all the shops, restaurants and public transport. Although quieter than the historical center, it is less than one mile to the beach, the Russian museum or the main train and bus stations. If you feel like staying in, there's a fully equipped kitchen, television, wifi connection and an enclosed terrace for chilling out.

The flat is safe and compact. It is comfortable and ideal for a stay in the Malaga area, with shopa and services nearby.

My wife and I appreciated the quietness by night and by day and yet without total isolation . A very god rest..

Ideal base for exploring Malaga by very good local bus service and being part of a local community.

Very comfortable, well equipped apartment. Good WiFi.

Katie and Jose were so helpful with our arrival and any queries we had about our stay,even providing us with a little hand drawn map of the area which was very useful.

We liked having to speak Spanish as we went about the shops etc, as it is not a traditional touristy part of the city but still handy for central bus and rail station.

property pretty much as advertised and per previous reviews.....Good location for easy access to public transportation(bus and train) and 20 minute walk to beach with nice boardwalk.....Lots of food shopping options nearby as well as restaurants and coffee shops........45 minute walk to downtown or 10 minute bus ride(taxi stand right beside bus stop)...........Hosts were accommodating and helpful with insight into "tourist" type enquiries from us,which was appreciated....Not a "toursity" location , so if you like living with the "locals" this would be it.....

Very comfortable apartment in an ideal location

This was our best experience yet of renting a holiday apartment in Spain: the warm welcome from Jose , excellent communication with Katie and their attention to detail all added to our enjoyment. We loved being part of the local community for a week, eating in the nearby excellent restaurants and bars which were recommended and so easily found thanks to Katie's map. This is the ideal spot for visiting Malaga or many other parts of Andalucia thanks to excellent public transport. We had a wonderful holiday and will certainly return. Many thanks to our thoughtful hosts.

Nice apartment with all of the facilities that are needed for a city break.

Had a wonderful time in Malaga and this comfortable, well equipped and spacious (there were 2 of us) apartment proved to be a great base for exploring this fantastic city. It is a little way from the tourist centre but local public transport is excellent, regular and cheap.

Katie was very helpful, giving us tips for places to visit and for dining local to the apartment. We had some great food and amazing value, just 2 minute's walk away.

The apartment is in a working area of the city that may not be as attractive as the tourist areas but the locals were really friendly and it was great to experience the lovely sociable lifestyle that they enjoy.

Absolutely great!

Couldn't of asked for a more comfy, clean & well stocked with all you need apartment. The owners were extremely friendly, kind & helpful. The area was great: situated within a local Spanish lively community, with great value local shops & eateries. Plus 15 minutes walk to the main train station of Maria Zambrano and a further 10 minutes to the very centre of Fabulous Malaga city with all its history & vibrancy. Public transport is inexpensive & very accessible to the beaches, hilltop white washed villages a la Mijas Pueblo, & other places eg Ronda, Caminito Del Rey, El Chorro. This was a great find & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment & location for couples, friends or families.

Highly recommended for keen walkers is a visit to El Chorro where you can enjoy the Caminito del Rey, which is a walk through a ravine alongside the river that leads to a freshwater lake. The best way to get there is by train to El Chorro and then take the provided bus that goes up to the entrance. The bus is about 1.60 and the entrance fee is 10 euros.
