About Darrell Cole

We purchased this house for a place to get away to relax from the pressures of ministry. We have done major renovation also want it to be a place others can enjoy.

We were both born in the midwest, but have spent most of our lives in the Northwest; Salem & Portland Oregon and now in Spokane.

Darrell Cole purchased this mobile home in 2011

Why Darrell Cole chose Northeast Washington

We loved this property on beautiful Lake Roosevelt remote from the noise and bustle of the city and yet with the conveniences of a small quiet community. Great fishing and wildlife (deer) add to the attraction.

7 bays February 2017

  • 5 of 5

Came to fish for three days and stayed at 7 bays. The accommodations worked out well for the two of us. This place could have had more folks easily! Lots of little extra things throughout the home for comfort and convenience. Just wished the fish would have been biting - maybe next trip.

Be aware that there is a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee no matter if you stay one night or a week!

Also a $60 damage fee that is refundable - we have not got that back as of yet (to soon after stay),

So what is advertised as $65/night for a three day stay ended up at around $115/night with fees/taxes/etc.

Great way to relax

  • 5 of 5

This was a great way for the family to get together and we have a large family there was plenty of space for people. Everybody was able to have their own areas as well as be together in common areas to enjoy each other's company. The fishing was so so caught two fish but it is not far of a distance to get down to the water great views great place.

Great view of the lake

  • 4 of 5

We came for some winter fishing and this place was perfect for us to be comfortable and have everything we needed. It's a little dated but is superbly clean and functional. All you need to bring is your toys and clothing and food. The kitchen is stocked with everything form a coffee maker to a cake mixer. We appreciated the nice newer barbecue which we used to cook some of our fish. Even though the house has forced air heat/ac, there's a wood stove in the living room which we used the whole time. There's no internet but they do have satellite tv. In total, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Clean and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

Great place, right on the lake. We caught a beautiful and tasty kokanee from the shore right in front of the house. Darell was very accomadating and made everything very easy. Will definitely be coming back here again!
