About Troy Snow
My husband and I live on the Property that we rent out year round. We take pride in our properties and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are on property, we deal with our guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home!
Why Troy Snow chose Bryson City
We purchased this property because of the history. These cabins were used to house the men that were to build the road from Tennessee to North Carolina in 1943. In 1945 the city of Fontana was flooded. The flooding of this road & subsequent loss of access would become a major controversy that has still not been settled over 50 years later .In the late 1980's & early 1900's many of the cabins were sold & removed from Fontana to make room for new units; dozens of the little cabins are scattered around Western North Carolina today. I'm happy to say we have a little piece of American History. These cabins are A-6 & were built by Schultz Trailers, Inc. of Eckhard, Indiana. The road today is Fontana Road aka "The Road to No Where".
What makes this Cabin unique
We chose this property because of the quiet, quaint area & the history of it.

We had a wonderful visit!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The owners live on site and were right over if we needed anything. The cabin had everything we needed as well as Wi-Fi, dish and an inviting fireplace to keep us warm. We were off the beaten path in a very quiet neighborhood. I loved listening to the tree frogs! Thank you so much for making our weekend memorable! I woild highly recommend this location to my friends.
We are so glad y’all enjoyed your stay!! Those frogs can be loud but at the same time are very peaceful!! We hope to see you again in the near future!!!
Troy & Terrie Snow
Very beautiful spot to stay! Loved it!
Very nice people to rent from! Such a quaint little cottage to visit and just relax and unwind in! Very close to downtown Bryson City and lots of nice stores to shop at. You can also catch the train and take their excursion and see the beautiful sights!
Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This cabin had everything we needed for a weekend away from the city. Troy and Terrie were prompt in replying to questions; the cabin was clean and had everything listed in the description; and the location was excellent for day trips to various spots in the surrounding area. We will definitely consider this property next time we visit western Carolina!
Great Place to Stay
Very Clean and home like cabin. Owners very Friendly, always there to answer any questions. Highly Recommend!
Cozy little cottage
It felt like we were camping in the mountains but we had quick access to Bryson city and hiking trails. We could see tons of stars at night. Troy is an awesome property manager. He was very accommodating.
