We were very pleased with the location and accommodations. Our hosts have taken good care of the property and were always willing to assist.
Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at this comfortable accommodation close to DC attractions
Wonderful, spacious accommodations for our family of 5. Refrigerator stocked with milk, cream, yogurts, water. Coffee, tea, cereal also provided. All linens, and ample towels provided. Nice backyard. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline.
It was very quiet and beautiful neighborhood.
Many restaurants in the vicinity, Dunkin Donuts with a drive thru is around the corner. It was the perfect accommodation for our few days touring DC. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful place to stay for our family!
Tim and Tanya were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. The place is beautiful and with lots of homey touches: fresh flowers, breakfast foods, fun toys for the kids, and great taste in books. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay more! Thank you!
It was a nice play to stay and very quiet
Very Nice, Very Comfortable
My husband and I feel very fortunate to have found this little gem. Who needs a hotel when you can stay in such a cozy, comfortable home? Very accommodating and gracious hosts, who readily advised us of the pitter patter of their three children's feet being the one noise factor. We are grandparents so we carry earplugs, but seriously, it was nothing. Everything else is ideal, as others have described. My favorite thing is the decor: Every square inch, it seems, is a feast for the eyes. The books, the art, the photos, even the decorative pillows are such a treat. The dahlias grown by Mrs. Nelson are so beautiful they don't even look real. She brings them in and shares them as cut flowers, on the kitchen table. There are extra mattresses in a closet. The neighborhood is nice. I just wish we'd had time to relax on the patio in the Adirondack chairs.
Beautiful, cozy basement apartment
My stay here with my two small children was perfect from check-in to check-out. This was the perfect place to stay when traveling with my boys because it was much cozier than a hotel. The owners thought of all the small details, to include toys, books and twin sized matresses. The comfort of the beds (children's beds included) were absolutly amazing, it was like sleeping at home!! I look forward to my next stay here.
