The location of the building is private, comfortable and this assures our guests quite enjoyment. The apartment has been recently refurbished from top to bottom. All new hardwood floors, a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with tub and shower, and lots of closet space. The large living room area includes and two long couches and a convenient workspace.

Hello, I am Joan. I was born in Czechoslovakia and I have lived in Czechoslovakia, Austria, Canada and now Dallas, TX. I have traveled extensively in Europe, Canada, Costa Rica and the United States. My favorite places are Tuscany, Italy; Prague, Czech Republic; Toronto, Canada; San Jose, Costa Rica; and southern California, plus Dallas. I speak fluent Czech, understand most Slavic languages, and even speak a little German. I enjoy life, exercise, the coasts and the beach, good dining, theater, music and travel. I love my work managing my apartments and caring for my tenants and guests.

The apartment is located the heart of the trendy Knox-Henderson area on the cusp of Highland Park. There is a lot to do within safe walking distance. This is a great area in which to be hungry. GREAT NEWS! Just opened is Trader Joe’s just over 2 blocks away. At your fingertips is a wide selection of fresh foods and groceries along with great prepared meals. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are about 30 restaurants, bistros, bars and other entertainment options within easy walking distance. You will discover a wide variety of food choices and restaurant styles to pick from. Some restaurants are cozy and intimate, some with outside seating and other places that help to bring the night life alive. It is too hard to describe how vibrant and alive this community is; along with being known to be one of the friendliest pedestrian areas in Dallas. We can’t forget to mention the plethora of shops, boutiques and stores including a large Apple Computer Store, Crate and Barrel, Z Gallery and other exclusive shops for that special something to wear, and more.

After enjoying some guilty pleasures there is the Katy Trail, the backbone of our community. Only three blocks away, it is a 3 1/2 mile long walking, jogging and biking trail that goes from SMU to Downtown Dallas. The Katy Trail is nicely paved and landscaped; it gently rolls through the beautiful communities of Uptown Dallas. Hundreds of people take advantage of the Katy Trail every day. For those guests wishing to go further afield, our apartments are centrally located in the trendy Knox-Henderson area of Uptown Dallas, adjacent to Highland Park, one of Dallas' premier neighborhoods. With easy access to the Central Expressway; it is only 7 minutes to downtown Dallas, 15 minutes to North Dallas, and downtown Plano.

Perfect place and located close to everything.

We loved the apartment. It was clean and welcoming. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants and central to all of Dallas. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

Great area to stay in...

We just had a nice stay here. The area is full of nice restaurants and shops all within walking distance. We didn't really cook but everything needed was available.

The only complaint we had is there's a little too much traffic during the afternoon rush hour M to F. But this would not stop us from staying here again the next time we come to the Dallas area.

GREAT RENTAL WITH AN EVEN GREATER LOCATION

This was our first experience in the Dallas rental market with VRBO. We paid for another home rental through this site for the same period but that owner (allegedly an ex-Cowboys cheerleader) double-booked the property, admitted it was her fault, but still refuses to refund our money. With that awful experience fresh in our minds, we were delighted to find that this property was everything that Jerry had advertised it to be. In addition, he was of tremendous help before and during our stay. Highly recommend Jerry's property.

When we arrived (we were here for 5 nights), we immediately noticed that the property was completely spotless! The instructions provided by Jerry were detailed and allowed for us to access the apartment with no problems. Everything inside the apartment looked new and well cared for. There was not one thing out of place. The next morning, we were able to walk around the neighborhood and observed that it was a very high-end densely populated area with small eateries as well national chains. In the evening, we were pleased that the area was active with people out for walks and others walking their dogs. Gave us a safe feeling to see that.

During our stay, the complex was super clean as well as extremely quiet. Parking was in the rear of the complex, was safe, and covered under a carport. The apartment is on the second floor at the front of the complex and has a huge picture window facing the street. This allowed us to keep the blinds open during our stay while not compromising our privacy. The only way we knew that anyone else was living in this complex was that there were other cars in the parking lot. Otherwise, this property was quieter than most hotels we have stayed in.

This apartment is very well situated. As I stated earlier, if you wanted to just park your car and leave it there during your stay, you probably could. Everything you need is within walking distance or short driving distance. There is a gym, a grocery store, a service station, a shopping center, etc. nearby. We were in town, however, to attend the Cowboys game vs the Bears - about a 15-minute drive (we won!), and we also visited other local points of interest. The casino in Oklahoma was just a short 1.5 hour drive as well.

We will definitely stay here again and hope that this property is available when we return to the DFW area.

With easy access to the Central Expressway; it is only 7 minutes to downtown Dallas, 15 minutes to North Dallas, and downtown Plano.

Downtown Dallas offers everything from the Arts District, to Deep Ellum, to Fair Park and the Science Center, to the new Perot Science Museum, to the West End and the American Airlines Center. What shouldn’t be missed is the Klyde Warren Park which is built over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway. Besides being an interesting engineering feat it also connects Uptown Dallas with the downtown. There are a number free activities that take place every day in this suitable for all ages park.

Only two miles north is Snyder Plaza with its restaurants, bars and shops, next to the SMU campus and the newly dedicated George W. Bush Presidential Center and Library. Two miles to the southeast is Lower Greenville with all of its restaurants and nightclubs.
