New looking 2 Bedroom, 2 full bath town-home located 238 steps from the ocean.

This end unit Townhome is located in the gated community of Barrier Dunes. You will have access to two pools (including the gulf front pool), tennis courts and playground. This quite little community is located across from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and is a short drive from Port St. Joe and Apalachicola where you will find wonderful shopping and dining districts. The beach is a two minute walk, where you will find the clubhouse, seaside pool and the cool white sand beaches that are unique and not overly populated. At St. Joseph State Park, one can enjoy wildlife, hiking, biking, or water activities-it even hosts a marina to launch a boat. If you are looking to golf, the St. Joseph's Bay Country Club is just minutes away.

The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you will need for your vacation, from dishwasher to ice maker! There is a free long distance phone, and cable with free WiFi. A washer and dryer are located in the laundry room, and the living room has a assortment of movies, books and puzzles.

Outside, this townhouse sports 2 balconies, with seating, and a deck with a gas grill, table and seating for six. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Beach equipment is included.

About Blake

I am a retired military officer and flight instructor. I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area of Florida where I entered military service. I am a father of three wonderful young adults and a young Grandfather. I find greater reward and satisfaction with the simpler things in life; good food, beverages, nature, and socializing with quality people. I love all types of aquatic related activities; lakes, beaches, and especially the ocean. I also appreciate the beauty of mountains and sunsets and riding my motorcycle. My experiences in life provided me the ability to see 25% of the world, yet I still love to travel.

Why Blake chose Port St. Joe

After spending a 25 year career serving in the military and seeing about one quarter of the world, decided Florida will always be my home. After diligently perusing various areas, found Cape San Blas and Peace Out on the Cape in Barrier Dunes. After considering several other properties, found myself continuously drawn to the whimsical appeal and freshness of the humble abode. The beach at Barrier Dunes is unequivocally the best beach that I have seen in the world. Aside from the fact that the white sugar sand and emerald green water is unmatched, where else can you find an all-natural beach that allows dogs and bonfires?

This unit had beautiful sunrises and the clubhouse had amazing sunsets!!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time on Cape San Blas! Peace Out On the Cape was great. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was there. Very clean and well-maintained! Blake was extremely helpful and even was kind to recommend some places to eat. Check-in and check-out processes were no hassle. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Hope to visit again really soon!!

Good unit that is basic at best. It needs some updates. Was clean and functional.

Overall this unit was an OK unit to spend a few days. I don't know that I would spend more. The furnishings are outdated including furniture, appliances and bedding. The WIFI worked great, but the remote controls to the TV's did not work. The dishes, glassware and silverware were slim. Not bad unit at all, just a budget unit.

Reservations made less than 30 days from check in require full payment at the time of booking.

CANCELLATIONS: Once Renter(s) deposit is received, all other perspective renters are blocked from renting the
property for the dates reserved, therefore, if renter(s) cancel the reservation at any point, the $200 deposit is not
refundable. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to check in. Cancellations inside the 30 day
check in will forfeit all of the rental payment in addition to the deposit.
EXCEPTION: Once you notify Peace Out on the Cape’s Owner / Manager that the reservation is canceled; every
effort will be made to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for the same time period and the same
rent amount, the full rent, less a $100 administrative fee, will be refunded. If the unit is re-rented for a lesser
amount, the difference between the two rental amounts less a $100 administrative fee will be the refunded
amount. The minimum cancellation fee is a $100 administrative fee. **If you have concerns about unforeseen
cancellations, you may want to consider private “trip insurance” with a private carrier such as
----------------. There are many companies that provide this insurance, and management does not
endorse any one company. **
