My place is a 15 minute walk to Main Street which is the center of Cold Spring, full of restaurants & antique shops. It's a 5 minute walk to incredible hiking trails or a 5 min drive to the famous Breakneck trail. Very close drive to the Metro North train station. The house is very cozy, has WIFI as well as a 52" TV w/ cable & PS3 hook up so you can access Netfilx, Amazon, etc. My place is good for couples, hikers, families w/ kids, big groups, and pets. Full Kitchen amenities, washer/dryer, BBQ & fire pit. Fenced in back yard w/ table and chairs and a large porch. Includes 2 Bikes as well.

About Matt & Livia
My wife Livia and I have been married for 5 years, we live in New York City with our dog Bella. We purchased our house in Cold Spring for the beautiful hiking and outdoors in addition to the charming town.
Why Matt & Livia chose Cold Spring
Our house is in a quiet neighborhood with little through traffic. Very safe. Fenced in back yard w/ table and chairs and a large porch, private setting.

Exactly as pictured. Thank you. Two quick items. 1. The freezer in the closet was frozen over when we arrived and we could not close it. 2. The smoke alarm battery needs to be replaced and we could not find a replacement battery in the kitchen.
Lovely home, great owner
I came here with my family so they could enjoy time with my toddler and I could catch the Metro North train to do research in NYC. The train station is just 5 minutes or so away, and I highly recommend the Metro North train time app for timing your trip. It costs about $20 one way during rush hour, and you save $5 if you travel at “off-peak” hours (after 9:30 or so).
It’s a great place, the AC worked well during some high heat and humidity, and we just had to clean out the filter of the one in the attic and let it run awhile to get it going. Matt was so helpful with everything, and very responsive. You definitely have to be vigilant about keeping all food in plastic bags and off the counter, because an army of ants is just waiting to invade otherwise. We just bought ant stakes at the local market.
The town of Cold Spring is very picturesque, quiet, and welcoming. Classic small-town America. The Main Street is right around the corner; lots of cute restaurants and boutiques. Boscobel is very close: a beautiful historic mansion overlooking the Hudson. The Woodstock concert museum (in Bethel, not Woodstock!) is about an hour away).
Very clean, great location and comfortable.
My family enjoyed the house and location. Very quiet neighborhood. House was spotless. Would book again if the opportunity arises.
Great location when visiting West Point and cute town nearby!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute but a little older than expected. We appreciated the updates like the bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms were small and it was interesting not being able to use the outlets in the bathroom. Facecloths would be a nice addition. From a safety standpoint not all of the windows had the ability to lock securely and when we arrived late in the evening the basement windows were left open. The location near West Point was perfect and we really enjoyed the little town. We appreciated the opportunity to stay and would recommend it to others visiting!
Beautiful Home on a quiet street in Cold Spring. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants.
We were in town for an event at West Point. Easy 15 minute drive to WP. Home was lovely and had everything we needed. Beds comfortable, nice TV and living areas to relax. Beautiful kitchen and bath with claw foot tub for soaking. Front porch and back porch for sitting. Beautiful backyard that our dog enjoyed and our daughters tossed Lacrosse. Rode the bikes provided downtown one afternoon for lunch. One of the most accommodating owners we have ever rented from. Plan to return again.
Our family of four adults stayed here for a weekend. We were attending Acceptance Day for our West Point cadet. The house is clean and comfortable. One of our sons slept in the third floor bedroom and loved it because it was quiet, cozy and cool with the AC unit. We did experience an electrical issue in which I overloaded an outlet circuit. I called the owner, Matt, and it was fixed within two hours! Kitchen is a pleasure to work in. Wifi was excellent as well as TV programming choices. The drive from West Point to the house took about 20 mins. The scenic drive was enjoyable and there is one point that offers a view of West Point from across the Hudson - very impressive. Cold Springs offers all that one could want and need - great location, great house!
Minutes from great hiking trails and a short drive from other fantastic trails. A few minute drive or 15 minute walk to the Hudson River where there is Kayaking and other water activities.
