Our names are Steve and Janine. We live in Boulder City NV and have a couple of secondary homes in Utah. We split our time between Nevada and Utah. We have four grown children and two pups. When at the cabin, we enjoy the peacefulness, the wildlife visitors and the ATV trails.
Janine Ayres purchased this cabin in 2006
We both spent our childhoods in the Las Vegas area and often spent our vacation time on Cedar Mountain - both in Duck Creek, Mammoth Creek and Panguitch Lake. We wanted our children to also have a place to play in the mountains as we did.
The property has the privacy and space to enjoy our time away from home. The firepit area is large enough for sharing our day of adventure. Often we enjoy the cabin with another family. The adults stay in the Main Cabin and the kids love having their away time (away from their parents) in the Bunkhouse.
Thank you so much Steve and Janine for sharing your wonderful cabin with us! We had such a fantastic time and the cabin has everything anyone could ever want or need. In between the rainstorms we had some great fishing! The cabin was so cozy to come home to out of the rain. Anyways I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to make priceless memories with family and friends!
We had a awesome time. Lots of peace & quiet. Very relaxing. Nice getaway. Wish we could've stayed longer, didn't want to leave. Lots of wildlife to entertain us. My dog was especially fascinated by the chipmunks. Something you don't see in the city. Thank you so much Janine & Steve for sharing your lovely place!!! Would definitely return again.
We had a great time at this clean, well stocked and well maintained cabin.
We had young children with us and they really enjoyed being able to run around the grounds. Had to set some rules regarding boundaries because of "drop-offs" on retaining walls, but all went well.
We enjoyed the animal life: lots of deer, squirrels and birds. Took short trips to Cedar Breaks, Bryce and streams. Went fishing one morning (Dave was very helpful at Rocky Point); all who fished caught at least one trout; for most, it was their first fish! Also, had a few relaxing days at the cabin.
When we decide to return to Panguitch Lake, this will be our first choice.
Had a great time at this cabin. It had everything you needed and was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Did some fishing and relaxing with the family. Saw lots of wildlife including deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks and even a fox. I would definitely make a return trip, possibly even make it an annual vacation spot! I would recommend to anyone who plans to take a trip to Panguitch in the near future. Thanks Janine!
We had such an amazing time! The property was clean and exactly what was promised! We will definitely visit again!
