Overview

About the property

Charming house, stunning views to the mountains, near ocean. For 2 - 4 persons

With heating and beautiful chimney! Ideal for all seasons.

As the house is wonderfully situated in the „middle“ of le Marche you can decide every day anew, whether to go to the beach or the mountains. Step right out of the house and stock up on some culture in the medieval towns and cities everywhere around you. Just around the corner you'll find the historical town of Fermo with cathedral, roman cisterns, museums, theatre, a big market place and many boutiques. You need only 20-30 minutes to the beach and 30-40 minutes to the mountains. Enjoy shopping and beach-life in the beautiful town of Porto San Giorgo or hiking, climbing and mountain-biking in the magical Sibillian Mountains.

From the ample terraces you can enjoy the panoramic view over the typical hillside to the often snow covered mountains. The guest house is spacious and well equipped for year round living - cool in summer & warm in winter.

Other activities: Many cultural activities including opera and traditional festivals.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We have been with our teenage girls last summer in this lovely house - even it is not huge you find enough space and privacy because of the three levels. The interior is arranged with love with nice and local details et you find everything you need for your everyday commodities. We loved the little village (and the very confortable little supermarket where you find everything) and the surroundings, the sea, the local markets, the nice restaurants - we would like to come back soon and say hello to our very friendly and helpful hosts Marietta and Rai!

Holiday with family

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed, it was clean and styled with love and comfort. Our host was extremely helpful with a ton of information that we as a family could do in the area and got back to us promptly if we had any questions. Since we had rented a car we spent our afternoons at the beaches and mornings exploring Le Marche. This is a wonderful area of Italy and this village townhome was so centrally located for us. I would recommend and would like to stay again here.

Sweet, cozy, and a friendly locale!

  • 5 of 5

This is a sweet little house with everything you need--a small kitchen, cozy fireplace, and heated floors for chilly nights. Conveniently located near a bar & boutique for coffee and shopping. Beautiful views and great for walks! The people of Belmonte Piceno were very friendly and welcoming. I had a great experience and would recommend this to any future visitors.

Lovely Belmonte Piceno

  • 5 of 5

The hostess was absolutely wonderful. We talked in English, German, French and Italian! There was fig jam and homemade red wine on the table when we arrived, wow. The view from the house, changing by the minute, was spectacular. We spent lots of time in the cozy public space with a rustic but effective pellet stove. The two bedrooms had their own bathroom, so our daughter could have her own space, with a walk-out balcony, when she arrived later from the U.S. Cappuccinos were just a few steps away on the main square at "Il Bar," and there's also a convenient market across the square for food and incidentals. We frequented the bakery, didn't need the Farmacia, and shopped for clothing and gifts at Tiziana's shop next to the Bar and Post Office. Can't wait to go back!

Erholung pur!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect holiday apartment in a quiet village

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic, well equipped and tastefully decorated apartment in a quiet village, with lovely south-facing views across rolling hills. A car is essential but parking is convenient and there are lots of places to visit within easy reach. Fermo must be one of Le Marche's underrated gems, and mountains and sea are within easy reach.

.

It was especially nice to have excellent cooking facilities (often lacking in holiday apartments). The complimentary wine was much appreciated, and the opportunity to buy more from the the owners' vineyard should not be missed. A last bottle bought from a local supermarket on the last night did not measure up. The owners were very welcoming, and left lots of information on local places to visit.

Belmonte itself is very small, but very picturesque and has a well equipped shop but there are also plenty of supermarkets within driving distance.

Highly recommended for those who want a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Sommer von Sankt Martin /St. Martin's summer

  • 5 of 5

Le Marche - the land of rolling hills is situated between the Sea, medieval towns and the legendary Sibillini-Mountains of the Apennines. Enjoy culture and local cuisine, hiking and mountain biking or simply relax in an area unspoilt by the ravages of mass tourism.

Exactly here, not far from Ancona and Fermo, you will find both of our holiday houses- the country house is standing on a hill at the foot of medieval Petritoli and the townhouse in the historical centre of the medieval village Belmonte Piceno. The mountains can be seen from the Terraces and can be reached within 45 minutes. To the ocean you need 25 minutes.

Hardly anywhere you go from the mountains to the sea so quickly as here in the Marche – along olive groves, vineyards and romantic ancient villages.

The holiday home is well equipped in the original style of Le Marche and only a 1 drive away from the next airports in Ancona or Pescara (Ryanair).

Other Activities: hiking, climbing, cycling, horse riding, tennis, Wellness, Spa, Truffle hunting
