Overview

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday barn in Wotton - The Barn

3 Bedroom barn conversion in idyllic rural setting

The barn, a former farm building, has been rebuilt and recently converted into an attractive, comfortable holiday cottage and offers a well-equipped kitchen dining room with oak beams and a stone wall, a comfortable sitting room, bedroom (with large double bed) and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two attic bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a further shower room. The property forms one side of a range of agricultural buildings in what was the old farmyard. This yard is now an attractive courtyard garden, with lawn area and table and chairs for al fresco dining. The courtyard is adjacent to the owners’ listed home. Many miles of open country and woodland of The Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surround the property. The area is ideal for walking riding and biking and although quiet and rural enjoys easy access to Westcott village, and the historic market town of Dorking. With easy access by train to London, and good road access to the South of England and coast, the property is ideal as a base visiting this part of England.

Beautiful barn and amazing surroundings

We loved our stay from beginning to end. The barn was gorgeous and we were lucky to be able to enjoy the garden as the weather was fine. Would love to return in the future.

Lovely cottage in beautiful countryside

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was so clean and welcoming. From the minute we walked through the door to be greeted by a vase of fresh flowers and bottle of local wine, we felt at home. The location is fantastic on a quiet country lane. Close to pubs and country walks. My children especially loved the upstairs bedrooms. A great place to stay for a family with small children, we would definitely go back.

The cottage was, very clean, tastefully furnished and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, three days preparing for our daughters wedding and entertaining family. Although the living area is quite small there was plenty of space for our "brood".

Thank you, for meeting us on arrival and checking everything was okay on the wedding morning, we had a very pleasant stay.

A superb location and view over the Surrey Hills. Plenty of parking space. A friendly welcome and warm comfortable rooms with good standard shower rooms. We enjoyed a lovely stay for our daughter's wedding.
