Gone to the Beach is located only five minutes walk from Reeds Bay with it's white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The property is located in a quiet secure community of 4 apartments on a ridge offering breathtaking views of the West Coast and Caribbean Sea. The apartment has two bedrooms one with queen sized bed the other has two single beds both with air conditioning and ceiling fans and large wardrobes.The lounge and kitchen are well equipped with wide screen TV, DVD player and wireless Broadband internet connection. The kitchen has all modern amenities including microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

All windows have bug screens and are secure.

The covered Deck area will provide you with a plunge pool (sole use) dining area and sun loungers overlooking the landscape gardens, a perfect environment for relaxation and enjoyment.

We have all had a fantastic holiday and really enjoyed staying in your fabulous apartment!









We loved that it was so spotlessly clean, comfortable and so well equipped, I can honestly not think of one single thing that would make it any more perfect!









We hope to return again soon and would not hesitate to recommend to all our friends.









We fly home tomorrow, We are currently in a sea front apartment just up the road from yours in Mullins Bay, sadly the apartment does not live up to your standards in the cleanliness department! On arrival I spent the first couple of hours cleaning the kitchen! Luckily though the location is fabulous and we are enjoying the outside space and snorkelling. There is a restaurant next door called Bombas that serves the most amazing fish, curries and chicken pesto linguine, we have ate there a lot!! We met and chatted to Cliff Richard in there last night so that made my holiday :)

Exactly as pictured and described! Great relaxing family time.

My family of four including a 16 yr. old and a 3 yr. old really enjoyed this property. This was our first time visiting Barbados and staying in a property rather than a hotel. After this experience I'm not sure when I'll do a hotel again. This is the way to go and I'm so glad this first time was so great. There was enough space for us to enjoy, relax, and spread out a bit. The outdoor area and view can't be beat. We didn't rent a car but we enjoyed the adventure of catching the bus to a few places. And of course the beach was amazing. I could definitely return - hopefully sooner rather than later.

Better than the pictures, Beautifully furnished, Very clean, Great staff, highly recommended

We were truly blown away when we arrived the pictures online don't adequately convey how spectacular the property and the ocean views truly are, we will stay here again and again at this beautiful property that offers great value, safe totally relaxing with excellent ocean views it's peaceful, professionally cleaned an amazing self catering apartment with all facilities needed, that accommodated 4 adults and a child with ease. A special thanks to Fernanda and Kim (staff) who were quick to assist us, who are honest and trustworthy, we truly had an amazing stay here thank you. Tom, Andrea, and family, Lindsay and Vieana. 5/5

Perfect in every way!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at "Gone to the Beach"! The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has everything that you could possibly need, from umbrellas (we had one rainy day!) to an abundance of beach towels! The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the plunge pool was a complete God send for cooling off in the tropical heat, heaven!!

The location is superb, pretty much slap bang in the middle between Holetown and Speightstown (both easily walkable if you can take the heat!) where you will find plenty of bars and good places to eat. The local beach (Reeds) is incredible and practically deserted! Best place I have ever snorkeled (go to the far end of the beach), like swimming in an aquarium (and a very full one at that!!!)

There is a great fish market at the at bottom of the road next to John Moore's Bar (our "local" for our stay, a brilliant little place - try the rum punch if you dare!!) where we obtained a whole Mahi Mahi (which was then skillfully filleted and cut into portions) that lasted us for our three bbqs! Next door is also a hut selling fresh fruit and veg for your salads, so pretty much a one stop shop!

Would highly recommend the Silver Moon cruises, we did both the sunset and lunch ones, both spectacular and plenty of turtles to swim with!

So, whether you just want to chill, or get out and about and do/see things, this place has it all. Our best holiday to date, a massive thank you to Pat and all the crew, we would love to return one day!

Exactly as pictured and promised

So RELAXING. The plunge pool, the view. COMFORT, COMFORT. All the touches of your own home. Minutes away from the beach, John Moore bar, the fish market and veggie and fruit market. Quiet luxury and of course the fabulous hospitality of the Bajan people. Do I have to go home?

Great location, fantastic, friendly people! Beaches and flowers are beyond beautiful. We met many helpful and interesting Barbadons. We definitely would return. Gone to the beach has everything you need and it's very charming.

Nine days and nights well spent

The apartment is well furnished and equipped. Attention to details like rain and beach umbrellas, plentiful beach towels, lots of fans, and a well equipped kitchen showed us an experienced owner. The mornings began with roosters crowing, sounding like a group chat, followed by a walk past the monkeys in the trees in the nearby forest. Rent a car, like we did, and you can explore both the east and west coasts, amazingly different, with a variety of things to see and do between them. You won't want for activity.

There is a road next to the building but the traffic is almost exclusive to daytime hours, when you should be enjoying the island. The beach is under a quarter mile down a gradual slope and quite nice with more depth of sand than most others we went to see. There are even two folding beach chairs in the apartment - really nice touch.

We would highly recommend this place for those interested in a quiet base from which to see and experience a lovely island, away from most traffic yet minutes from Holetown and all the shopping you could ask for.
