Beautiful apartment centrally located

Beautiful garden apartment suitable for a couple and centrally located to the centre of Edinburgh. Easy walking also to Stockbridge where there are many lovely Cafes and restaurants. The owner was very thoughtful and left us a lovely welcome pack of wine, milk and chocolates. The apartment is very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable , furnished with everything you would need. Free wifi and Sky TV an added luxury. Thank you , we will visit again soon.

Above and beyond accomodating

The location of the property was very close to downtown and all amenities. We were greeted by Evelyn, who was lovely and gracious. With wine, chocolate and of course tea stocked in the kitchen, we knew our stay was going to be enjoyable. The overall space was good, large walk-in closet and a lovely walk-out to a shared garden. The bed wasn't a king by Canadian standards, but we made due. From the beginning Evelyn went out of her way to be as accommodating as possible. First by providing hypoallergenic bedding at our request. But, what really impressed and went above and beyond, was when I discovered at the airport that I had accidentally left my phone behind in the flat and Evelyn retrieved the phone and coordinated with one of our remaining friends to have it returned to me. A true lifesaver!!! I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. Great stay. Great vacation.

Beautiful apartment in the Old Town, wonderful bank holiday weekend in Edinburgh

Evelyn met us at her apartment as previously arranged. She had very thoughtfully purchased a welcome pack for us (including chocolates and wine) and spent plenty of time showing us around her apartment. It is a beautiful basement apartment about 10 minutes walk from Princes Street, ideal for two people, consisting of a bedroom/living area (with flat-screen television and SKY channels), dressing room, kitchenette and shower room. The rear garden is a beautiful area for relaxing in.

The apartment is clean, warm and comfortable, and the furniture and decor are of a high standard. My partner and I will undoubtedly visit Edinburgh again, and we will certainly stay in Evelyn's apartment if it is available.

Lovely Flat and Great Location

The flat was very well appointed, quiet, and an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Evelyn was also very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure our stay was great. Would highly recommend this flat, provided going up and down stairs is not an issue for you.

All we needed, and well taken care of

Evelyn went above and beyond with her care of us. She kindly met us the day of our arrival and warmly invited us into this lovely property. She was available to answer any questions or concerns we had with a happy heart.

Some of our favorite qualities in The Playfair Garden Apartment were the quiet neighborhood and the beautiful garden out the bedroom doors. The flat is tastefully decorated with enough room for two people to enjoy it's use. The kitchen has everything needed to create simple meals, including a range, stove, microwave, pots/pans, and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a lovely shower with great water pressure! And the mattress and linen were perfect. We felt like we were sleeping on a cloud.

We would be happy to stay at the Playfair Garden Apartment again should we be so fortunate to visit Edinburgh again! Thank you Evelyn for helping to make our week in Edinburgh a good experience.
