My husband and I love the southwest. When we found this house we knew this was it. We are big hiker and just love the location to all the National parks. We wanted to be able to share this home with others for their family vacation and retreats.
Sharon Quesenberry purchased this house in 2012
This home is spectacular and Sharon was just wonderful to deal with the entire process. Our large group of Australian friends were wowed by the accommodations and everyone was very comfortable......a special spot in a special part of the world!
I've been renting this house yearly (sometimes twice per) for 10 years - the past several with Sharon. Everything is always emmaculate and she is available if you need anything. She makes you feel she values your business! Highly recommend this location for large group retreats, family reunions, holidays and more! <3
It's been about 2 weeks since the 15 of us stayed at this fabulous house, and we can't stop talking about it! It was so perfect in every way! Plenty of space for all of us to spread out.
Sharon told us there weren't any groceries very close to the house, so we placed a pick-up order for groceries at Sam's to be ready the morning we arrived in Las Vegas. We picked them up before heading to the house - barely fitting everything in the four rental cars. But that turned out to be the best idea! The kitchen was huge (several of us could be in there at the same time! ) and well supplied with everything you could possible need to fix meals for 15 hungry adults. The large pantry and 2 refrigerators were more than adequate to store everything be brought ($1500 worth of food!) We used the grill every night for our dinners and then ate on the deck to enjoy the cool evening weather and the spectacular view.
The purpose of our trip was to hike in Zion and Bryce, and the house was a perfect location for us. We loved being away from town, and enjoyed the morning drives through the park to get to the shuttle stop. We were greeted daily by a flock of wild turkeys on the road from the house, and by a herd of bighorn sheep in the park.
Additionally, the house was beautifully decorated, immaculately cleaned, and well supplied with towels and paper products for the bathrooms and kitchen.
Sharon and Mike were so easy to work with, and they recommended so many other things to do in the area that we wish we had been able to stay longer to do them all!
I can't say enough how much we all loved staying there - everyone agreed it was the perfect vacation home! Thank you, Sharon & Mike!
We came for a family vacation to this lovely home and were thrilled by what we found. We had never been to a vacation home in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the quality offering we found.
The place is clean, spacious and met all our expectations. Its proximity to Zions National park made it so we could enjoy that amazing place without "roughing it". The nearby Ponderosa also meant our kids had a blast with the zip lines and the pool, tennis, etc. Overall we had an amazing time and made some wonderful memories.
I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for something near Zions or if you just want a beautiful home secluded in the beauty of nature. You'll have everything you need here.
We stayed here a few weeks ago and loved it. We had around 34 people, including 21 grandchildren, stay here for our family reunion. Despite the large group, the home still felt very spacious. It was in great condition, well decorated, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook meals for a large crowd, there was TWO sets of large capacity washer/dryer, and each room had its own TV, most with private bathrooms. We loved having plenty of seating at meal time and there was space for people to lounge and relax, or for kids to run around and play.
We didn't end up using the amenities at Ponderosa Resort at all, since it was an added cost (e.g. $5/person to use the pool), but didn't really need it as we spent the majority of each day at Zion. Not having been to this national park before, we weren't aware that we'd have to drive to the Visitor's Center each time we wanted to hike to take the shuttle to the trail head (about a 45 minute drive from the cabin, plus 20-40 minute shuttle rides), so it was much more of a commute to the park than we realized, despite that it's right next to the park--just not anywhere you can start a hike. But there really isn't a plethora of places to stay near the visitors center, so this was a necessary sacrifice we were fine with making.
Everyone in my family was so grateful we found this place loge to stay in--it was clean, comfortable, and the owner was great to work with. Should we ever do a reunion at Zion, we will definitely stay here.
We just spent two nights at an awesome cabin outside of Zion National Park. The accommodations were for 30 people and we couldn't have been better housed. The cabin itself if beautifully located, furnished to the hilt and very modern. We loved it so much that we have already booked it for 3 nights next year. Our family ranges from 75 years to 8 months and there was something for everyone.
