4 Bed House sleeps 8 ( + 1 ) next to beach, large garden, sundeck, 2,300 sq ft

Luxury Holiday Rental House located seconds away from a very quiet beach in Sussex. Only 1.5 hours drive from central London or 1 hour 20 minutes by train from Victoria. Well behaved dogs accepted.

The house has been finished to a very high standard with beautiful up to date interiors including all modern appliances. There is a large garden to the rear with seating for 8 people and a barbecue. To the front of the house is the perfect area for sunbathing - enjoy basking in the sunshine with complete privacy. There is wireless broadband, SKY HD in both the sitting room and kitchen, and a DVD player for those who want to chill out and watch a movie. The open plan kitchen dining room has American style fridge-freezer, two ovens, dishwasher and seating for 10 people. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedrooms have ceiling fans for hot summer nights. Bathrooms are well appointed and have constant hot water, perfect for a shower after a long day on the beach.

Wonderful house and location

This was one of the nicest weekend houses we have stayed in. Two minutes walk to the beach, and on a quiet estate.Lots of room for all 8 of us, and the house was very well equipped (including for the two children in our party)and nicely decorated. Sally was really helpful in terms of organising check in etc. All in all a great place for a break

The perfect holiday house in a lovely village setting plus a beach

We spent a fabulous two weeks at Mansard House. The first week was spent with friends for glorious Goodwood races and the second week the house was an enormous hit with visiting family members and their children. The house offered everything we could wish for and The owners attention to detail made our stay very enjoyable. An unexpected bonus was the helpfulness and friendliness of the people in the local village.

Wonderful house in lovely position

Mansard house is a lovely spacious house in a great position near the sea. There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and we had plenty of room.The house was very tastefuly furnished with everything we could need.Sally was very helpful and also the housekeeper was very friendly.

We would definately reccomend this property and hope to return one day.It was everything it stated and more.

Great house and location

We travel quite a lot and are really quite picky about our accommodation. Bedding and amenities are important and this house exceeded our expectations. It has 4 well appointed bedrooms and great space for entertaining family and friends. The location is also great in a very upscale neighborhood with a short walk to the pebble beach and a small village with a fab little café - The Seahorse Cafe. We even used the local train station at Angmering to go into London one day. There are also several large shops near by so we could eat at home as needed. The kitchen has everything you need and the welcome pack (milk, bread, bacon, wine, etc.) was a nice touch especially since we had traveled over night and needed a quick fix for the family. Nothing bad to say and will definitely consider this house again for future visits.

Our girls weekend at Mansard House

Stayed at The Mansard House for a weekend but wished it was longer. We were 8 ladies celebrating our dear friends 50th birthday. Unfortunatley, we had been judged when trying to book other propertys. I think the owners thought we would trash the place and be very rowdy just because we are all female. Sally at the Mansard did not judge us at all. We all felt at home as soon as we entered. So comfy, lovely decor, clean and tidy and spacious. Sleeps 8 perfectly. The beach is a 5 min walk, and although it was very cold and windy, it was so worth walking down there at night. We will need to return here again in the summer months so we can experience the lovely garden, beaches etc. Was so chuffed at Sallys welcome pack in the fridge, was really not expecting it. Plenty of room for sitting and chilling in the living room. And the viking table in the kitchen was huge. Would definately return and cant wait, and would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for comfort, style and beautiful scenery too. Thanks again Sally for all your help and all emails sent through. It truley was a wonderful stay and stunning house. The girlies.

A luxury beach house with a large secluded rear garden and decking to the front. Beautifully decorated open-plan living offering a tranquil escape. The house is situated next to the beach and for the energetic there are many water sports available in the local vicinity, including, windsurfing, sailing and kite surfing. For those of you who want to discover the local attractions there is the beautiful town of Arundel, with its Castle and stunning Cathedral, the cultural town of Chichester and the cool vibe of Brighton all within half an hour.

For race fanatics the courses of Goodwood and Fontwell are 20 minutes away. Restaurants, shops and pubs are a five minute walk from the property.

For children, there is the Wetlands Bird Sanctuary in Arundel, Fishers Farm Park, Brighton Pier, and the fun fair and crazy golf at Littlehampton and lots more.

There are many lovely local sussex pubs which are happy to take dogs for those who like to stop for lunch after walking on the downs.
