In serious need of some TLC

  • 1 of 5

We weren't very comfortable here. The entry was dirty and run-down. The apartment was not really "dirty" but the provided bed linens were questionable at best. The pillows flat and in need of washing. Sheets and bedding were wrinkled and wadded into sofabed. There were six bath towels, half of which appeared stained and stiff. No wash cloths or hand towels. One dish rag in kitchen. Luckily we had taken our own bath cloths. There were broken floorboards in the bedroom and in front of dishwasher There were mouse droppings in the cabinet under the sink.

The noise from the apartment above was horrendous until 2-3 o'clock in the morning. We actually left a day early.

We have used VRBO for 22 years, and this was the first time we've ever had a problem.

We enjoyed the city's architecture and history, as well as the concert that brought us to town.

Great location & quaint neighborhood

  • 3 of 5

This apartment is in a great location where you can truly walk to everything. The neighborhood is quiet with great stores and restaurants close by. The apartment is perfect for 2-3 people, but can use updates with regards to kitchen amenities & comfortable bedding.

Great property, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a long weekend at this property. The location was absolutely ideal for walking and exploring center city. We were a short uber ride from some of the attractions a little further away if you don't feel like walking. It was a safe area with lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. Rich was extremely helpful and responsive during our stay, which was greatly appreciated! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the city who wants to be close to the center, but also in a quiet neighborhood.

Clean and close to liberty center

  • 5 of 5

Property is clean and centralized to every area we wanted to go. Rich was very accommodating with an early check in so we did have to carry our bags around prior to check in.

Great location in Antique Alley with in walking distance to everything from Historic to Rittenhouse

  • 5 of 5

First of all, Rich is a life saver! Excellent host! Second of all, Nan Zhou hand drawn noodles in Chinatown, Amis modern Italian down the street, Effie’s Greek a block away, green egg cafe for breakfast is a must - cash only, Pearls Oyster Bar at Reading Terminal, Bassets ice cream. US Constitution Center, Pennsylvania Museum of Art, PAFA - building alone is amazing, Magic Gardens is an eye ful of art with a fascinating story right behind you on South, Whole Foods is there too. We got the Philadelphia Pass and saved lots, but only if you go to a lot of the places. If you are up for leaving the city, Brandywine Museum And Longwood Gardens are worth the trip! Thank you Rich for saving us on my reservation mix up. You were so professional and expedient!
