We rented this house for some friends coming from France. They were looking for peace, nature and proximity to the sea: it was a success !!!! The house is very comfortable and spacious. The swimming-pool is very private with wonderful sea view. What made the holiday so special was the owner who is extremely welcoming and lived in France and England, and the biological garden enabled us to eat freshly picked fruit and vegetables every day! Will definitely return
The property is located by the Natural Park of Arrábida, a paradise of Mediterranean vegetation near the Atlantic Ocean. With a pleasant weather all year round, this is a well known region of lovers of nature and peaceful holidays. The special microclimate of this area, which incites the coexistence of diverse and rare species of fauna and flora, allows one to fully enjoy nature. History and the passing of time left in this region a remarkable trail of medieval castles, renascence palaces, splendid manors, churches, chapels, convents and sanctuary that allow a meeting with the past. The castles of Sesimbra, Palmela and Setúbal were, in the middle age, part of the defence line of the Setúbal peninsula. These monumental fortresses are worthy of your visit. Isolated in the middle of cape Espichel, rises the monumental pilgrimage sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Cabo built in the 17th century and classified as national heritage.
All the area is protected so nature is beautifully preserved
Golf: Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Quinta do Peru Golf and Aroeira Gold are a short drive away and other courses are nearby.
