The house features 5 bedrooms - 3 double rooms and 2 twins. It offers split level accommodation, ideal for 2 families sharing. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level, accessed from a small hallway off the lounge area.

The other 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are downstairs off an entrance hallway where the door leads to the lower terrace and BBQ area.

The floors are tiled throughout and the rooms are tastefully furnished with pine furniture. The newly fitted American kitchen comprises of a dishwasher, hob, oven, combination microwave, large fridge/freezer. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the large open plan lounge/diner.The lounge has a TV and a DVD player but with the fantastic views and warm evenings its the perfect place to kick back, open a bottle of wine and enjoy the good life with friends & family.

We have strict NO SMOKING Policy. No weekend lets.

Surrounding Area: The villa has spectacular panoramic views stretching to the Albufera and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. The surrounding hillside is filled with orange and almond orchards and is perfect for walks or biking (very popular in the area). With the superb climate in the area you will find plenty to do outdoors. The villa itself is just a half hour from Valencia; a city where ancient and modern cultures thrive side by side. The port area is the headquarters for the prestigious `Americas Cup` Yacht Race which the city hosted last year and will again in 2009.

Villa Levante is close to the small town of Montserrat and just a 10-15 minute drive to either of the nearby larger towns of Torrent or Piccassent, which have Metro stations for quick, cheap & easy access to the city and the motorway (A7). The town of Cheste is just over 20 minutes away - home to the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for racing fans and the El Bosque Golf Course is also close by in Chiva.

Valencia: The city of Valencia the third largest in Spain, is a vibrant and beautiful city, proud of its historical heritage, clean beaches and fantastic fiestas. The city centre is just 30 minutes away, easily accessible on the metro, with the nearest station (Torrent Avinguda) only 15 mins away. A return ticket costs a little under 4euros and a great way to explore the city. Some of the examples of the citys wonderful architecture are within easy reach if you disembark at Colon station. These include the remains of the city walls 'the Torres de Serranos & the Torres de Quart', the cathedral complex, and the 16th century Lonja de la Seda(Silk Exchange) The Mercado Central(the Central Market) and La Estacion del Norte (The North Station) a large modernist building of avant-garde design, a great achievement for its time.

There are many wonderful beaches, with numerous earning the coveted blue flag. The city itself has its own beaches of Las Arenas and La Malvarrosa, which are connected by a sea front promenade. Both are readily accessible by metro from the city.

There are also superb beaches near El Saler which is close to the Albufera nature reserve.,itself a vast lagoon surrounded by rice paddy fields. The area offers many varied and beautiful nature walks. Fishing, however, on the lake is strictly by permit only.

Water & beach activities are a way of life in Valencia including sailing, surfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing and just about anything else you can think of.

Relaxing, chilled out holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had a very relaxed holiday, it's so peaceful and tranquil at the villa. We ventured into Montserrat on occasion for breakfast at El Dolcet cafe.

We did prefer to relax by the pool but we drove into Valencia and took the chidren to L'Oceanografic. What a wonderful day out we had. We also drove to Cullera and spent a couple of days on the beach there. Well appointed and spacious and we even had our dinner watching the Spain v Italy Euro game. Very entertaining!!

We shall be returning again.

Spacious, luxurious and very tranquil

  • 5 of 5

The house was our excellent getaway from the hard working environment we left at home. The pool was very clean and was cleaned very regularly by a nice pool-lady (sorry, forgot your name).

There is enough space to park two cars in the shadow. A cool sea-breeze blows through the porch, making it easy to escape from the heat.

When the wind changed to an inland magma-hot wind, the pool was there to avoid drying up to a sun-bleached skeleton. Just wish we could've found the remotes for the A/C. Ah well...

There is enough to see in the nearby towns and of course there's Always Valencia to visit.

The house has a pleasant view on the Albufeira in the distance and at night the starry skies gave us a view we usually can not enjoy in the light-polluted cityscape that western Netherlands is.

The kitchen is modern, spacious and well-equipped. There is plenty of storage room in the bedrooms, so you can quit living from a suitcase whilst on holidays.

The road in the urbanisation is very bad in places, but as long as your keep your speed upwards of 30 km/h and avoid the bottomless pits that are scattered on the road, you won't notice much.

But I'm nitpicking: the house is great, the location is great, the showers (in the bathroom, I mean) are powerful and with a large enough fridge it is all you ever need to fall in love with Spain.

The only downside is: we had great problems adjusting to our usual work-rhythm back home and became a bit homesick for Villa Levante because of the great time we'd spent there.

A true Mediterranean gem!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a short stay in this glorious villa!

Secluded, quiet, and stunning - the ultimate 'chill-out' getaway!

The house itself was clean, light and provided everything needed, including ample storage space. It was clean - which from past experiences of renting villas haven't always been the case.

The bbq area and pool were superb.

A true Spanish experience!!

Will be holidaying there again - definitely longer next time.

Thank you

Fantastic holiday and accommodation

  • 5 of 5

for those of you wanting an idyllic rural location, with your own enclosed villa with outside pool, superb accommodation and facilities, then look no further than Villa Levante. We have just had a weekk's break there and it was faultless. Only 20 minutes from Valencia airport, you are soon in your own peaceful world with excellent views out over the Mediterranean. The bbq area was used every day with fresh meat and fish being purchased from the local supermarket.

If you want the hustle and bustle of places like Benidorm, then Villa Levante is not for you. If however, you want to relax, soak up the sun, be close enough to a city and their excellent transport links to the centre of the city, then look no further that Villa Levante.

Definitely going back again!!!

Maison vieillissante et qui manque d’entretien !!

  • 1 of 5

- Chambre 3 - 1 Double, en-suite bathroom
