We do not rent to vacationing students or anyone under age 25. or for parties.

ANGEL PLACE is a 3 bedroom/2 bath charming beach side home located approximately 170 steps from the sparkling white sands and beautiful waters of the majestic Gulf of Mexico. The home is located across the street from the canal on the beach side of Hwy 98 in a quiet neighborhood at Miramar Drive.

After an extensive interior remodel ANGEL PLACE is back on the short term rental market. NEW Kitchen cabinets, NEW appliances, NEW mattresses, NEW furniture, NEW tile flooring in the common areas, NEW flooring in the bedrooms and NEW beach colors and bead board. NEW exterior trim and paint. NEW larger back yard fencing and NEW grass sod backyard lawn. NEW master bath remodel with NEW tiled shower and fixtures, New kitchen cabinets and remodeled hall bath with tub/shower combination in 2015. The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, and bedroom #3 has two twin size beds. There is a pull out sleeper loveseat sofa for additional guests. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and flat screen TVs. The living room has a leather couch, leather chair, pull out love seat, flat screen TV and blu ray player in living room and tv's in all bedrooms .Wireless Internet is provided. Free local and long distance telephone calls.

NEW back patio in 2016. New mattresses in 2018.

Linens are NOT PROVDED. Please make arrangements to bring your own bedding: sheets, pillow cases, wash cloths and beach towels.

Pillows, bedspreads, and blankets are provided.

Fully stocked kitchen with NEW side by side refrigerator, NEW electric range, dishwasher, microwave, crock pot, small kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender), cookware, dishware, glasses, low country boil pot, etc. Kitchen towels and pot holders are furnished.

Enjoy coffee in the morning or the beautiful beach sunsets on the large screened porch with both eating and sitting areas. There is also a covered patio with charcoal grill and picnic table in the backyard. An outside shower is located in the backyard. The backyard is newly fenced for additional privacy, and new grass lawn. There is a covered carport with washer and dryer located in the laundry room off the carport. There is a screened in porch on the side of the house.

NO SMOKING is allowed in the house. No drugs.

On your inquiry, please tell us more about who is staying in the home and if you need to bring your small dog with you so we can approve it and quote you the correct fees. Small, well trained, non shedding type dogs will be considered . Large shedding dogs or other pets will not be considered. There is an additional $75.00 pet fee per pet if accepted.

The 11 A.M. Central Standard Time zone check out time and 4 P.M. Central Standard Time zone check out are firm times due to inspection and cleaning times between guests.

Why Owner/Manager chose Mexico Beach

The house is well located near the beach between Hwy 98 and the beach. We loved the neighborhood and the location. We reserve the right to decline any applications which do not meet our standards or policies or who will not be a good match for our home and what we provide.

The house has an easy, open floor plan and has been remodeled. New bathrooms and kitchen are most recent. The back covered deck has been recently replaced also. It has been well maintained and is located in a great area. You do not have to cross busy hwy 98 to reach the beach from the house. The beach is reached by a very short walk down the street which runs perpendicular to the beach. The canal and the pier are within walking distance. You can fish from the beach, from the fishing area on the other side of the canal, or walk or drive to the pier.Florida fishing licenses may be required. You can watch the boats on the canal which is located across the small front street from the house. from our screened in porch.

What makes this house unique

Great location on beach side of highway 98, nice neighborhood, newly remodeled, privacy fenced backyard, covered deck.

A nonrefundable damage insurance from vrbo is required, and a refundable damage deposit is also required. The refundable damage deposit will be returned by vrbo 7 days after you check out if no damage occurs. A travelers 'cancellation insurance of your own choosing is highly recommended.

We do not rent for parties.

A for pay public boat landing and a fish cleaning station is located within .5 mile of the home.

Usually peaceful and quiet area yet just steps to the beach, large back yard fenced with privacy fence CANCELLATION policy: more than 60 days, refund less a $50.00 and less a 20% charge against money already paid. Credit card transaction fees will also be charged against money already paid. Cancellation of fewer than 60 days prior to first day of rental are nonrefundable, unless owner can re-rent the property for the same dates. All guests are strongly advised to purchase traveler's cancellation insurance for a company of your choice. Vrbo will offer a pop up offer of cancellation insurance when you begin to make payment or secure your own choice of cancellation insurance. Since cancellation guidelines are different for different companies, any claims on this type of policy are between the guest and the insurance company. Had a great time, house is perfect for my husband and I and our 2 ShihTzu's , fenced in yard..great neighborhood, beautiful beaches and the best neighbors.,It's a very quiet neighborhood..my only complaint was construction started on a house across the street..so my puppy's were too scared and so couldn't take them for walks around the neighborhood..I'm sure it's very quiet most of the time...but love our vacation at mexico beach

Family Fun

My family stayed at Angel Place in April and had a great time. The bathrooms and kitchen have been renovated, and the tile work is gorgeous. Also, we really enjoyed the covered patio out back and the proximity to the beach. The house was not as clean as it should be though: shower liner in the master was filthy, the vent on the AC return really needs a vacuum, and we saw 2 cockroaches and several bugs inside the house during our stay. But hey, we're country people and can handle it. Appreciate the stay and would come again.

Owner's Response: We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that you found problems. The cleaners cleaned just prior to your arrival, in between previous guests checking out and new guests checking in. Since then we paid for our usual spring "deep clean" which included changing out shower curtain liners, change ac filter. moving all furniture and vacuuming and mopping under the furniture, complete kitchen cabinet cleaning, cleaning of blinds and windows and mouldings, and arranged for a pest management spray. We have never seen this problem before. There are usually extra shower curtain liners in the closet as well as ac filters for anyone to change out if needed. If anyone has a problem with any of these , then please call us and we will correct the problem immediately. We take the condition of our home seriously and appreciate your comments as a way for us to always correct any problems. Thanks.

I love this place, third year in a row I have stayed here and already booked next year. As in any place problems will arise but the owner is easy to reach and always takes care of anything in a very speedy manner.

Very good location for our purpose. Glad to find plastic ice trays to supplement ice made from freezer. It's a small thing, but we use a lot of ice. Did not find washer/dryer.
